Kitty ate 1/4 can about 50 minutes before the test. Not sure it would be green though.

I think we need to stay at .5 for the third dose. This is a good response -- so I guess we stay with it, depending on what happens today. I kind of wish I had gone from .25 (which might have drifted skinny) to a skinny .5 -- what was I thinking? Yesterday, I wasn't thinking at all!!! :roll:

Skinny, fatty, on the mark, - it doesn't matter - you are doing what's best for him and that is all that counts.

It is hard for me to tell you not to worry.....not because I think you have anything to worry about but because I am from the worry family too....but IMHO I think some kitties race to the finish line and other's like to put on the breaks a little.
I think he will get there....I really do!
 
I am genetically programmed to worry, so that's not going to stop. And I have guilt genes too. That's not going to stop, either.

It's just such a shock. Here's a kitty who has been almost exclusively green for MONTHS. He handled two missed shots after anesthesia and was STILL green. For him to pull up this way was the last thing I expected. I did think he was one of those indomitable kitties who intended to cross the finish line the same way he'd been running the race.

I had also made the mistake of making some plans for my soon-to-be-free time. When beans plan, cats laugh. :roll: So that's a big disappointment too.

But his AMPS is decent. The increase is working, and that's good. I have to hope we'll get him back on track.
 
You are doing awesome!!! I am a worrywart too and always am second guessing myself but just think of all the great progress your kitty has made?? I am sure the finish line is still in perfect site!! Hugs!!!

My little guy is trying. At least the higher dose is keeping him out of the 120s. I am glad we increased.

Plans? Who need plans??
