Good Fursday Afternoon Everyone!! ohmygod_smile Sabrina can't make up her mind which way to go........Sir Gobbles Mama bean told me he left his fingerpaints out the other day, & while Sabrina was visiting with him, she must have gotten into them also!!! :o (just take a gander @ how colorful her ss is!) Today she started out @ 240 & after 2-1/2hrs dropped down t 94. Unfortunately I had to leave to get my bus & was gone for 6 hrs. In the meantime I left out more lc food & .5oz hc food. Again, like yesterday, I think her bg dropped below 50 & now we're looking at another bounce I JUST CAN'T GET HER REGULATED  We'll see what her PMPS shows & I'll post later............

Libby Re: yesterday's post-I saw what you did post regarding those greens being influenced by the early dose. This morning I dosed her @ the 12hr interval..5:30pm/5:30am & her bg dropped fairly quickly. She has a tendency to have Nadir +3.5 through +5.

Everyone have a good evening...................Cindy & Sabrina cat_pet_icon

AMPS 240 1.25U 1.5oz chicken, +1 1.5oz

Re: 6/27 Sabrina AMPS 240, +2.5 94, +9 333 OMG..NOT GOOD

How she is doing generally.. How is she feeling? How are her energy levels? Peeing?

And her numbers the last few days aren't that bad, she is dropping into nice green numbers and the more she does that the better she will feel and the more her pancreas can heal.

Also here is some info on definitions of regulation.. Obviously she could be better but she is "regulated" according to this...!

Regulated: Blood glucose generally below 300 mg/dl (16.7 mmol/L) with glucose nadir near 100 (5.6), good clinical signs, no hypoglycemia
Well regulated: Blood glucose generally below 200-250 (11.1-13.9) and often near 100 (5.6), no hypoglycemia
Tightly regulated: Blood glucose generally below 150 (8.3) and usually in the 60-120 (3.3-6.7) range, no hypoglycemia, still receiving insulin
Normalized: Blood glucose usually between 60-120 (3.3-6.7) except perhaps directly after meals -- usually not receiving insulin
