06/07 J.D. PMPS 327

Yesterday's Condo

Yesterday J.D. was 277 at +11.25 and 245 at AMPS, so today's AMPS is very similiar. Hopefully, I won't come home to a red again. But, I did finally get 8 whole hours of sleep last night It's so nice to wake up not tired for once.

J.D. ate some of his 1st Breffis of FF Chicken and Liver and then went outside on the deck in the rain to drink from his watering can. I opened a can of FF Savory Salmon and he ate all of that 1/4 can serving and both cats went back out in the rain to give themselves their morning (face) baths.

Hi Dyana! I'm super jealous of your 8 hours of sleep. I can't remember the last time I got 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Dreamy!!

That's funny you should say that right now, because in the past month or so, I've been thinking J.D. might need a real bath. He doesn't groom himself that much anymore except his face and front paws and around the chest area.
I came home from work late at +12.25 and opened the sliding glass door. I gave J.D. his shot and his meds and was talking to my dad on the phone when I got up to look for J.D. and he was outside down the path and just walking along towards our house in the rain. I don't know how far he went for a walk by himself. I toweled him dry and fed him and was reading some emails, and all of a sudden J.D. comes to me at the computer and he is drenched in water. He went back outside to walk in the rain .. I toweled him off this time with a big bath towel because he was so wet, and was thinking that he just got the bath I was thinking of giving him. The sliding glass door is now closed..

Hey, Dyana -

Sorry about the red, but YAY! for 8 hours of sleep!!! Funny about the walking in the rain. When Hershey was little, we had to be sure to close the bathroom door all the way or he'd jump in shower with us. Silly kitty. He doesn't like baths so much anymore, but doesn't holler like a banshee (Oreo), either.
