Good morning, LL!
Ripley seems to be doing great today. Slurping away at her food...

Last night she seemed sleepier than usual (she's a cat, I know, but I know her better than the back of my own hand ~ or however that saying goes). Not uncomfortable, nor did she 'stare off into space' as she does when she's not feeling well; just not perky/chatty. And she slept on her rocker (aka "Sick Bay") all night instead of next to me.
Then her amps is a little higher than normal (130 is still an awesome amps, but I wonder if it's a cause or a result of her feeling slightly off last night). On May 30 she had a similar pmps, and acted off... hmmmm.

BUT today she's back to normal: chewed on my houseplant because I wasn't preparing her breakfast quickly enough, squawked for more treats in her food, and giving me headbutts galore. :-D

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
Thinking of those who've had to say good-bye to their kitties recently and sending healing hugs.

Thanks for visiting last night, Deborah!

Morning Josie, I know what you mean about them getting quiet or a little off sometimes. It is always a worry. I'm glad Ripley is back to normal. I just had to laugh at chewing the houseplant cause mom's moving too slow. The headbutts are all worth it.

Re: 6/4 Ripley AMPS 130

Maybe she just had a bad day yesterday. I guess they are allowed those as well. Glad to hear she is feeling good today and singing for her breffis. Nice blue start. Have a great day Josie!

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O)

I vote for just an off day yesterday too. Sometimes they just have those. it's great though that all is well this morning: Normalcy in RipleyVille. :-D I so love that impatience they give us when we are not fast enough. Mannie was such a laid back dude that he just waited. Elsa too. Now Lola and Bug: no way. They ave their nose in the bowl as I dish it out, hollering the whole time. sheshhh! I always wondered too if numbers can e a bit off when they feel out of sorts. could be.

have a great day today. :-D

Re: 6/4 Ripley AMPS 130

Hi Josie. Real nice AMPS for Ripley even though we're use to seeing her start her day at the Lagoon. Maybe she decided to go to the blue zone to recruit some of the kitties hanging there to come downtown the Lagoon.

One thing FD teaches use is to learn our cat's normal mannerisms. Once we've done that any little change becomes worrisome to us, which is a good thing with a diabetic cat. Maybe Ripley was working on a hair ball last night or just needed some alone time. I'm glad she is acting normal again this morning. Sending her some good feeling vines.

Have a great day Josie.

I'm glad Ripley is feeling better today. Sometimes Furball has an off day like that too and her numbers are higher.

Ripley is continuing to have a good day :-D .

Her numbers so far:
AMPS: 130
+10: 75 (had to work late)
PMPS 102

Hi, Ann :-D You're right, the headbutts are totally worth it! Although neither I nor my plant like it when R chews on it, it was reassuring to hear the 'crunch crunch' sounds of the leaves getting chomped; plus, she had to climb up onto a chair, then a desk to get to it. She was definitely back to normal.

Hi, Melissa :-D I'm actually not sure if she's allowed to have a bad day, for it stresses me out  . I like that you called it 'singing for her breffis.' She needs singing lessons...

Hi, Michelle :-D Normalcy in RipleyVille! Love it! It's funny how The Rookies are patience-less ~ kids these days! :-D

Hi, John :-D I like the idea to Ripley being on the blue floor to recruit her friends to join her in the lagoon. "Follow me!" Thanks for the vines ~ they helped! And I truly love all the things that this FD dance is teaching me: to pay attention, to be in the moment, to be patient... all good things!

Hi, Carla :-D Thanks for the well wishes. Ripley thanks you, too!
