6/3 Tarragon AMPS 174

Good morning LL!

Nice blue start today. It was a little rough first thing with some poopy issues for lil T. Let's just say it involved chasing, butt dragging, and mom screaming and running around with wet wipes at 5 am. Grrrrrr. What a way to start a week.

A friend of ours is trying to find a home for some kittens. She is at max capacity. Of course, she thought of DH and was texting him last night. I had to put both feet firmly down and say absolutely not. DH and Mason both have a problem with kitties, in that they think we need them all. :lol: I felt like a big old scrooge as I lectured them both about our three fur kids being older and how the balance in our house is really good right now and they don't need the stress. Mean old mom.

As expected, the guys didn't bring any fish home. They caught lots but gave them to an older gentleman who was there fishing. Beautiful day here before storms move in tonight.

Sorry to hear about the poopy issues this morning, I did the exact same thing two nights ago with Smokey. Yuck! Boy she was mad at me as I was cleaning her up. :lol: That is a nice blue this morning though, I hope that a surf will be on the agenda. :smile: Have a good day,

Morning Melissa, oh no on the poopy issues with Tarragon and no wipes please, Mom! :lol: That sounds like Mags when I get the wipes out. She also moves away from me in a hurry. Hope it all worked out and the half bath was avoided. Oh my on the kitties. Is it a closed case? I can see why it would be hard adding more to the furbaby family.

Oh, I hate when we have those incidents here, too...it always makes me nervous when that happens.

It is SO hard to say "no" to kittens. Crazy me, with all of Michelle's posts of Lola and Bug, my mind is going "Hmmmmm...." - but I KNOW it's not a good idea right now! There are so many that need homes. But I understand the feeling...you've got a good balance.

Good Morning Melissa.....I always breathe a sigh of relief and send a "thank you" to the Heavens, when I see you've posted, and are safe.

I hear ya, on following kitty around with wipes...paper towels, or whatever rag I see first!
My Clancy sometimes seems to do half in box, and either jumps out before finished, or just brings poopsicles with him.
Oy, the cleanup! Plus, he has longish hair. I feel for Ann/Maggie, with the bottom bathing too.

Otherwise, it's a lovely start for Mr T's day

I hear ya. I keep looking at the cats in the "Kitties with diabetes store" and keep thinking they need a good home. But the balance is so nice here right now. :YMSIGH:

Hi guys,
I'm glad that the poop issue was a one-time thing (at least I hope so) and that the rest of the day was fine in that department. Yes, it is tough to look at kitties and know that you ought not to bring them home. But Mason will surely adopt a kitty when he gets his own place, so he has that to look forward to.

I hope T's poo is back to normal. Poor guy! And poor you with cleaning it up. It sure would be fun to adopt a kitten...
