Good Afternoon World! Welcome to our extra sweet home! Yesterday

KT
AMPS 250
+4 - 215

It was another dog food with flortiflora morning for Mr. KT. FINALLY today, his diare...diarrea...crap - "the runs" are firm! I could NEVER remember how to spell that word! Liz/Anne/Zener/Tillie sent us some food with pumpkin in it - seems to have worked here! Last night's was awful - bath at 9pm....poor baby.

Doc is in wonderful fine form today. He has a VOICE! His meow is a little squeak for such a big boy. He's definitely a Norwegian Forest Cat mix, not a Maine Coon mix - his head, neck and body structure is HUGE. I'm beginning to suspect he's as carb sensitive as KT, the only reason I can figure out that caused that +4 rise is 8% carb that I fed him this morning.

Please send extra thoughts and prayers for my son, Cody. He works in the oil field, they were moving the rig itself yesterday - brakes failed going uphill, the rig began to roll backwards, tipped and began rolling sideways toward ravine edge. He was riding in the passenger seat. He had to make split second decision to ride it down the 50' ravine or bail. He bailed landing on his head in a rocky area breaking his 8th vertebra. It didn't separate at all - a HUGE MONSTER BLESSING! He has gravel buried in his head and arms but it could have been SO SO much worse. He's got appt with specialist Monday to go over treatment. Right now he's at home on heating pad/ice on strict bedrest.

Prayers for comfort for our beans grieving right now - we have way too many suddenly. My heart hurts when I see those candles next to posts.

BIG HUGS to all that visit today!!!

Look at those sunny yellow kitties. And sorry about the um er...runs.

Your son is very lucky indeed. Fortunately I will not be seeing him in my work in sports for persons with disabilities!

You do know that Maine Coons are bigger than NFCs, right?

I hope your son is OK. It sounds like this is more than a "bed rest" situation.

No Sienne, I DIDN'T know that - I thought the skull and shoulder area were LARGER on the NFC's...he's much bigger boned than KT. Doc has a wide skull with very wide jaw. Whatever is mixed in has lots of love in there too! :-D

What are the odds of a person having 4 boys - two of them break their backs in work-related accidents? My oldest son had a third-story a/c unit explode on him throwing him off roof and onto concrete about 3 years ago. His break was much worse altho' he did heal - only that 'forever' pain to live with for him.

Anne, I'm VERY thankful for that too!!!!

BIG HUGS!

i'm so sorry your son got so injured! very good to hear that it's not as bad as it could have been. i hope he has a quick recovery!! :YMHUG:

Lyresa,

Sending many prayers for Cody. Back injuries are so painful. Thank Goodness he is alright. Yes Sienne is right Maine Coons are huge, I saw one at a cat show that had to weigh in a about 35 lbs or more and I am not kidding.

Look at those two sugar babies at almost the same number! Hugs to them both. Boy, am i glad the pumpkin worked. Sorry about the late night bath.. Poor baby and momma.

Sending lots of healing vines and prayers for your son. I can't imagine how frightening that must have been. Thank heavens his brain was in gear and he could think to get out! Some people would be unable to think or move. I hope his recovery is complete and quick.
lots of hugs and scritches

Wow - sorry to hear about your son, but boy that could have been a terrible accident. I hope he recovers completely with no pain.

So a combined condo for KT and Dakota? Boy, that will be a loooooooong subject line when you are surfing both of them in greens at the same time :-)

How funny those boys' AMPS are about the same!!

Many many many prayers for Cody. OMG! I know you are worried.....we will send healing vines and special thoughts that he is ok and recuperates quickly.

Hi Lyresa,
I'm just seeing this and sending all manner of healing vines to Cody. I hope that he heals quickly without complications.

Dakota is a beautiful boy no matter what "mix" he is. Neat that he and KT are close in their bgs. I hope that KT's "problem" is over with!!

Stay safe from all those storms.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty
