5/18 Maggie AMPS 206; +4 85; +5 108; PMPS 205

Maggie 5/17

Morning not too bad of a start as Mags did a CPC of Cowboy Cookout overnight. She has decided the CC is okay after a few days of eating the RC Renal LP. Four P's today, waiting on the prezzies, Detective Poo. This may be a free day for her.
Looking forward to Elsa Lil Bit's coffee delivery.

Well, good news with Maggie's urinalysis results. I spoke with her Vet late yesterday, and he said the results are normal, no infection. I felt certain it might be a UTI because of so many episodes of peeing out the box, but then she had no other symptoms in hindsight. Her appy was good, she looked well and always vocal. It's the best money I spent for learning she's well. She did get an exam along with it, heart, manual, etc, teeth, and all is well. She has some nodules he felt but isn't concerned about them. Her teary eye isn't that bad lately, and he saw no infection and didn't feel any meds were necessary unless it becomes worse.

So now I have to get inside Maggie's head and see if there's something I need to do, like a second box. It's interesting as after the Vet visit, there has been no accidents overflowing onto the floor. Do you think Mags read her condo and discovered it's why she had a Vetty visit.

Amy, no b/w until end of June. I thought they might run it early, but Vet said best to wait until end of June when she's due for her three month b/w. I'll get them to also shave her behind at that time.

I to think she read her condo, and well... no UTI for Maggie, and that she had better keep it in the box. :lol: Maybe on a second box? or maybe just a new one? I dunno.... It's great to read that she had a good vetty visit.

The first test I did read 38! :shock: I had a good blood sample, too. I was so nervous that it took two pokes to get a second reading, and it read 85, phew! I don't know which one is accurate, but if it were that 38 and that low, Mags would have been asking for food. She did have three breffifs, small ones, and all CC!
I was thinking I'd get an early start on some things but will hang out here with my sweet Mags for a spell.

Michelle, thanks for your suggestions on another box or a new one. I was about to ask her when she threw me that 38 and my mind forgot. I think the 38 was a wonky reading. Yes, a walk if I can get myself together. :lol:

Yikes on a 38! :shock: Even Detective Poo would get a shot of adrenaline with that. :lol: :lol: That 85 is perfect. :mrgreen: Checking in on the Mags, always hopeful. 10k = 6.2 miles.

This is more like Mags, just a short stint in the Green Lagoon. I think her bf med treat keeps her surfing the blues.

Liz, glad I checked twice, It does seem the 38 was a wonky number even though I thought I had a good drop.
Thanks on the 10K, very impressive with the 6.2 miles.

Wow, I'm sure that 38 was an eye-opener :shock: ! Mags is looking good today. Yep, a couple fresh new boxes could make all the difference. I agree...peace of mind is worth it's weight in gold.

I'm glad the 38 was a wonky number. 85 is much better. I hope Maggie keeps surfing low blues and high greens for you. I've found that sometimes just moving a litterbox to a different place works.

Almost the same bookends! I was out and about and stopped at Petco as I had a $5.00 coupon from them. I found the firm texture Wellness. Mags will be happy.

Amy, yes, the 38 was an eye opener. I may have had too large a drop, as Barb mentioned sometimes happens with her. Mags has done her #1 all in the LB since I had her to the Vet.
