Close to green so this is a good number.

Last night Spot decided he was going to lick the spatula I used for our "dinner", so that may be why he was a tad higher last night at his +4 pmbg. BUT..I forgot... he also had a new food for his dinner...bought him the Authority venison flavor. I heard it was one of the better foods for diabetics, but maybe it's a little bit higher in carbs then Spot is used to, So for his snack last night I gave him his old food, sophisticat with 1% carbs. Gave him some of the Authority for breffis, mixed with Sophisticat.

WCR: Hung out later than he should have at Shadow and Raja's party. Got in late and was missing his tie and top hat. He was singing some kind of song about tequila making his clothes fall off...must have been some kind of Party. Right now Spot is doing his morning pace, but earlier he ate all his breffis and was furry and purry for his test.

We are 4 people short at work today, which means I need to work a crew tonight. I get to go btb for a little bit...going in at 10 today instead of 7. Grammie bean will be getting pmbg and I will post when I get home at 8:30 p.m. Have a great day LL...and get ready for another party today...Quincy's OTJ party!!!

Oh dear! Spotty has issues about keeping his clothes on. He wants to be a naked cat, but tell him to be careful or he might end of looking like naked Brownie (and be missing his fur!).

Thanks for letting me into the club....If you only knew what I thinking those first few weeks here! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Ok, I'm going to blame this all on the new food. It is Instinct, not Authority, and I am not going to give it to him anymore, straight or mixed. Ralph will be happy to get the new foods.

Spot spend an hour outside on his chair while I was getting ready for work. He was so happy out there...hated to bring him in. He was not at all thrilled to come in for his test...yelled at me as I was prepping his ear, however, by the time the test was done and treats were eaten, he was nice and purry. He was more than happy to get his +4 snack a half hour early too!

Will not be able to visit many condos this morning...At work, got lots of my own work to do before doing someone elses. Cyinz all later!!
 
Happy day 12 Deb and Spot :smile: Only a couple more days...

Hope Pat can find poor Spot's clothes...he might need his zippy pants for Caturday :mrgreen:
 
Just want you to know that Moonie & I feel you are one of our closest friends here. And although we are so so so Happy for you & Spot,
'we will miss you everyday terribly, so you better come & visit--Every now & then God comes & gives you a great gift & this OTJ is yours & Spot's.

We have watched many friends go to the Falls & we are so happy for every one of them, but especially you .... :mrgreen:
 
Awww, Roni :cry: sniff sniff Spot and I consider you and Moonie one of our closest friends also....we love you so much and really appreciate all help and support you have given us over this past year.

I know that Moonie will get to this point too...and what a glorious day it will be!! There are times when I see those 120 and higher bg's that I just don't know if we will make it to day 14..and then if we do, if we will stay there. Regardless of what the future may bring...we will always visit LL and check up on you and Moonie!!

Enough of this goosh...sniff sniff...It's a beautiful day, with the sun shining and I can just smell spring in the air....enjoy the day, my friends!
 
Looking good, very good, esp. given last night's debauchery! Hopefully Spot comes down from that higher +4 tonight. I think he will!
 
Looking good, Spot - no pants and all! Brownie wanted to tell Spot that pants are completely unnecessary anyway - nekked is best! And yes, Brownie's nekked AGAIN! Looking forward to your big day, Spot - keep chewing!

A very flat blue day today....part of me is yelling ABORT ABORT and the other part is saying...he got green yesterday and the day before and the day before and the day before and the blues that he is getting really aren't that bad. I'm feeling so wishy washy....I'm wondering if we can postpone the OTJ Party for another week, lol.

Spot had a wonderful day today....Grammie bean came home from work at 1, put him outside so he could hang out on his chair, came in for dinner and then back outside until it started to get dark. He hung out w/me for about 20 minutes and is now sound asleep on his kitty condo. Now, could a kitty ask for anything more????

Deb, let's give it at least another day. Maybe the food did have something to do with this and if so, he'll be back down tomorrow.

nobody says the party HAS to be on Day 14, if you don't feel ready to party yet we can put it off a couple of days. But let's not worry about that yet, see where tomorrow goes.
 
Ok, one more day and we'll see where it goes, Libby. Maybe Spot is one case where we're going to play it day by day, lol. Thanks for dropping in! I'm going to do a few tests tonight, at +6 and +9...hoping to see some greens...

I'm a little disappointed that we aren't seeing as many greens, but on the other hand I'm so happy. Those blues really aren't that bad...I keep thinking that when we first started this dance, Spot was getting 500 and over...look where he is at now...low 100's without insulin...this is pretty damn good, if you ask me!!! Like I said...wishy washy day for me...I must need a night out :lol:
 
Don't be disappointed Deb. Look at how well he is doing without insulin. His numbers may not be green but if he needs a little more insulin for a little while then you know he can do this.
He has come so far and he is just about there.....he may suprise you in the morning with some very green AMPS. :mrgreen:
 
awww, blues aren't uncommon when they're coming off the juice. spot's gonna make it. so proud of you two! :)

lol very flat day, very flat. I'm going to set alarm for +9 so that I can make sure he eats his snack, but I think I'm not going to be obsessive at this point and test...but who know what type of mood I'll be at that time, lol.

We are heading to nini now. Snacks are ready and furries are waiting!

Spot just had a bout of puking his snack up...then puked a few more times, just white foam. This was followed by a deposit in one litter box and then a pee in another....then a stroll to the door and a nice cry to go outside, which is out of the question since it's 12:45 am. Poor thing... Picked him up and took him to the living room and gave him some pets...then he decided he was going to sit on the side table. He doesn't seem like he's in any distress. Maybe he's picking up on my stress in regards to his numbers, so I'm going to have to stop stressing. He is now sitting on the couch, getting ready to lay down, I hope. Well, don't see any sense in testing at +9, it certainly will be higher due to the puking. Let's hope for a better tomorrow!! Gotta get to bed now...later guys :-|
