Ripley's doing very well today!
She's working on joining the Clean Plate Club, but keeps getting distracted by a kitty meowing outside. I don't know this kitty, but for the last several mornings (s)he has been coming by during breffis time. My 2 kitties and dog get really antsy for a few minutes, but then normalcy resumes when the cat is gone. Yep, cat must be gone, now, as my 3 furkids are eating their breffis in peace.

Last night we found Ripley and civie Smokey pretty near each other on the couch. A rarity. Must've been an accident.


The spot Ripley is on is her 3rd favorite indoor spot (rocking chair being #1, #2 is my lap).
Since she was a kitten, she has LOVED sleeping on the 'crack' where the couch cushions meet. We jokingly refer to her as "crack kitty" when she does this. "Do you know where Ripley is?" "Yeah, she's on the crack." "It's time for an intervention..." :lol: (We 'crack' ourselves up sometimes. :lol: Oh dear, it must be BTB time. Sorry for the bad joke.) But it's the best we can do when we only have furkids to entertain us... :roll: :lol: :lol:

That's a cute picture of Ripley and Smokey. Maybe they spend time together when no one is around and you just caught them this time.

Ripley and I had a nice, cuddly BTB session on the couch.
She's already spent a little time out back, and is now working on her 3rd nap of the morning.

Morning Josie, what a sweet pic of Ripley and Smokie lounging together. Your condo cracks me up this morning, no pun intended, talking about Ripley sitting on the crack and your joke. :lol: Usually I get my laughs from Checkers, but you won today. I haven't visited the drinking sink Checkers yet.

What a gorgeous picture, and what a gorgeous cycle! Looking good, Rips, looking good. Glad they defended the palace from the intruder. There is a black and white kitten (around 6 months old) who has been visiting our backyard. Kismet takes his security patrol very seriously and has been keeping vigil by the sliding glass doors in the bedroom. There's a tear in the screen to the patio, and she figured out how to get in under it. Kismet's tail blew up and his fur down his back was standing on high :lol: I've never seen him so pissed! Lots of screeching and yowling ensued. By him only! The little girl just sat there and looked puzzled. Mean old Kismet.

Hi, Ann I'm glad you were able to get a laugh from my condo ~ sometimes I type when I'm half-asleep, so my thoughts are a little loopy and goofy ;-) .

Hi, Courtney I can't even imagine your sweet Kizzy being Mean Kitty! It's funny how our kitties react to 'intruders.' My dog, Marley, didn't get pissy with the strange cat ~ he started whining like a big baby. He thinks all creatures are his friends.

Hi, Amy Almost missed ya up there, cross posted. I wonder if the kitties feel more cozy in the crack, like being 'cradled.'

Ripley isn't very hungry for dinner ~ but I'm not worried. It's a little warm today, and my DH and I were gone all afternoon, so the house was closed up. Ripley's appetite usually wains a little in the heat. Once the ceiling fans are doing their job, I'm sure she'll be ready for her dindin.
