Yesterday was the traditional pink to blue slide day, but the evening was something different, all BLUES!!

It's another sunny day with blues skies. I'm not sure if Neko will use that for her BG inspiration or the pink cherry blossoms that are starting to fill the view from our front window.

With spring comes shedding, each day her lovely long hair presents knots it a spot she'd rather I not comb. :evil: Today was the top of the throat under the chin. She's recovering her dignity in her solarium basket.

Ouch - that's one reason I don't want a long haired cat! Luckily, all the cats who have adopted us have been shorter haired. Yay Neko on the blue slide! And no looking at the cherry blossoms!

Shortly after I started the condo, Neko wandered over to her nanners and started playing with them, so I knew she had been looking out the front window at the cherry blossoms. But it did give this bean a chance to go out with a friend and get my toenails painted turquoise. Hint Neko!

@Lisa - I have two long haired cats. When I got Neko, I was looking for a medium haired cat. The SPCA had her listed as that. But she was 11 months old and her fur kept growing. I should have looked at the tail which was a dead give away. Neko's not too bad to brush, the cat before her was a Persian. :roll:

Rusty loves to be combed. He stretches out and just luxuriates. I love to see him enjoying himself.

Nice to see Neko slide back down to blue. Long-haired kitties can be a chore to take care of. Furball doesn't really like to be brushed, but I have to do it. It's easier for her if I do it a little at a time.

I wish I could brush Shadow.... I can get about 4 strokes before she lashes out....
fortunately she preens a lot... and I only have to cut out a knot every once in a while.....

Neko's got blues....
Hope she's going to cycle thru to green early and not cause a pajama party.....

Woot, another blue evening start. Paws crossed she goes down this time. :roll: Slowly!

@Ella - Cimmamum is supposed to lower BG's, so maybe she did indulge. :lol: I read Rusty's condo on his frequent brushing with envy. Neko tolerates it, until Theo comes around.
@Rusty - I lubs planning, more so if ders food. The party is gonna be a blast!

@Carla - Blue again, almost getting predictable but I like to see it. I usually do Neko a section at a time too. Especially the pants. :twisted:

@Rhiannon - I've tried a number of different combs and brushes with Neko, and strokes and treats are involved too. Fortunately I seldom have to cut anything out. Me too on early cycle. PJ parties are over rated.

@Liz - Two blue surfs in a row would be a lot to ask for, but I can hope!

@Cathy - Pink does seem to be Neko's go-to colour. :roll:

I really like Nekos 92 @ +4. Hope she flattens out and stay right there.

We had some awesome weather down here in Seattle also. I think we both will have a great Thursday, enjoy!
