I was up every few hours testing last night but no green... until this morning! Fed him LC after 68 reading. Tested again at 20 minutes and he dropped to 58. Just gave him some HC - will test again in a bit.

Just tested again at 4.25 and he's only up to 62 from 58. Of course I'll be keeping a close eye but do I need to get more HC food into him? Karo syrup? Or do nothing- just sit and wait and test again? Thx in advance!

You must have given some hi carb to be at 118 now.
Looks like you were doing pretty well all by yourself today.
Everyone must be out to lunch or at work. I just got home myself.

It will be interesting to see where Elian goes after the food wears off.

Those greens look good. Maybe Elian will do it again in the next cycle or tomorrow and earn a reducie. Paws crossed.

Thanks. I'm hoping! He got his last antibiotic from his dental last night so maybe no meds, clean choppers and no ear mass will get him in the green on a regular basis now. Fines and paws crossed!

Hi Susie, unless Elian goes below 50 you don't need to feed HC, unless he is going down fast early in the cycle, which he was. You handled it well! Once you slowed him down you could have gone to LC or MC to see if he would surf.

Paws crossed here the last of the meds is making a difference. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: And Elian, - no B allowed!

Thanks Wendy. I just got nervous that he dropped after the LC so that's why I gave him HC. He's back to LC. I'll check him again in a bit.
