Sorry I have been missing over the last few days. I had to go out of town to Florida to see about my cousin. They moved her to a different psychiatric hospital. She is doing ok, but not any improvement as of yet. We had a nice visit, although DH's father went into the hospital with a very serious complication due to his bladder cancer. I was a nervous wreck the whole time I was gone. He is still in ICU but is a little better this morning.

With his mamabean gone and his daddy at the hospital most of the time, Simon's AMPS are not too surprising. He also did not get a shot last night because I was very late getting home from Florida and DH was at the hospital at shot time. Simon was very glad to see his mama and is now resting peacefully in his bed.

Cole update: My stray black kitty is doing ok, although he is on 3 different meds for a small infection in one toe, and also because he had pretty bad diarrhea (from the AB). He is feeling much better (poo is better) and Simon and Cole actually ate in the same room together with no hissing. Cole walked right by Simon and still no hissing. I can tell Simon is still not thrilled by Cole and I still don't know what to do with him. I really want to find a home for him because I am pretty committed to adopting Missy from the no-kill cat shelter. I feel bad because Cole has been staying in my little bathroom due to the diarrhea, so today I let him outside. He is so happy to be back outside since that is all he has known for all his life (1 1/2 years). I will bring him back in after a few hours exploring. I hope y'all don't think I am a bad bean by letting him outside.

I will try and keep everyone updated as much as possible. Thanks so much for your support even when I can't post very often.

Re: 4/14 Simon AMPS 381

Hi Georgia,

Wow, you have a lot on your plate right now. Sending healing vines to your DFiL and to your cousin. Simon is doing OK with all the disruptions in his life. I'm happy to hear that Cole and Simon are "adjusting" to one another and hope that you will find the perfect solution for Cole and Missy. Hang in there!

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty
