Good morning, LL! Happy Caturday!
Ripley's doing well this morning.

:?: She was blue last night. I'm not sure why her numbers are creeping up a little ~ depending on how today goes, I may fatten her current dose a little. Her numbers have been looking really good and pretty much in the healing range :smile: . But I would love some feedback...

I give her a Pepcid treat about 1/2 hour before her shot (1/4 tab, crushed and smushed into a part of a pill pocket, then that's rolled into a few tuna flakes ~ she loves it! The other day I forgot the flakes & she wouldn't eat it :roll. After her Pepcid treat today, she was restless and started doing her "I want food" antics (chewing on plants, paper, her rocking chair :roll: ); so I brought out the laser pointer. She was able to play with the little red dot for about 30 secs. before getting interrupted by civvie Smokey (who is OBSESSED with the laser). It was fun watching Ripley play, trying to catch the light on the couch. She only tumbled a couple of times (her balance isn't great), but was able to stay on the couch .

Sending healing vines to Do Lou and FurBall, and appy vines to Mannie.

I think it's fine to fatten the dose. It looks like you've got room for a bit of fat.

Hi Josie, good luck on the fattened dose. I bet it takes Ripley back to those pretty greens. I can just hear Ripley thinking to herself, How could you forget my tuna flakes Mom? :lol: Glad she's feeling so playful. Have a great day.

Ripley had a GREAT day. She basked in the backyard, and even got a little playful several times today. It's sooooo good to see her acting so, well, normal . I treasure each day.

Tomorrow we are having a little birthday 'party' for her, as Monday's her 15th Birthday. And, honestly, a few mos. ago I wasn't too sure she'd make it to her birthday. It'll be the best bday ever for her. She deserves it. We are having a couple of good friends over for brunch ~ they have 2 kitties, too, (they're staying home; kitties don't like to socialize that much) and we are each others' kitty sitters (except I haven't had them care for Ripley yet since dx...). We are going to toast our bloody marys to Ripley (while she enjoys her extra treats), and make sure she gets extra headbutts (her favorite). I hope there will be some fun pics to post...
