Michelangelo has had scary good numbers all day today. Lowest I've shot him yet was 97. nailbite_smile

The vet also called today; he won't renew my syringe prescription without having Mikey in for a check-up. Which, I actually don't mind and I like the fact that he's left me on my own for 6 months but still cares enough to check on how things are going. I also don't mind him wanting to do a health check on Mikey since it is his one-year birthday on Saturday.

Speaking of syringes and shots.... I went to Walmart last night because I was down to my last syringe for last night's PMS and had to pick up some to hold me over till the vet filled his prescription. While there, they noticed they had two accounts open in their system for Michelangelo and one of them still had an outstanding prescription for syringes. So I went ahead and bought a box of them. Stupid, stupid, stupid me! ohmygod_smile I didn't check the sizes and didn't realize until this morning that they're the short (8mm) needle, which Michelangelo HATES with a passion!

So, once I get his new syringe prescription, someone's going to have to call dibs on a box of 100 ReliOn syringes (minus ~10 or 20...depending how long it takes for me to get a new prescription). First one gets it free of charge (just pay it forward some day). And if no one here wants them, I'll post this in the Supply Closet.

Since you like the longer needle syringes you ought to try a box of Terumos.

Not even sure if you need the script but you'd have it.

Yeah, it might have been serendipitous that I got the wrong syringes because this next time when I have the new prescription, I'll be able to order through ADW now. :thumbup

They're playing a "When We Left Earth" marathon on the military channel right now, so at least I have something keeping me entertained. haha_smiley

I figure I'll stay up for at least a +6.5 and if he's over 60, I'll be happy enough that he's maintaining this dose quite nicely. If he's not, then I'll get a +7 and hope he's above 60 then. :YMSIGH: I'm getting tired; I had to start work an hour early today for a conference call and I have to work in the office tomorrow (which means I have to wake up at least an hour and a half earlier). I-)

I'm happy that he's holding stable (even perhaps going back up). Didn't have to break out anything besides his 8% carb. :mrgreen: And now I'm going to bed! I-)

I believe I have "When We Left Earth" (the whole series) recorded somewhere. Have to check and see if it's the one I think it is. ;-)
