Yesterday's OTJ Trial Day 7 Condo

Good Morning LL!

Leo was a super fart last night and got a little too aggressive with the bites, and got yelled at. And mommy put the scallop, which was thawing in a dish, back in the fridge. Leo got no bedtime treat. Bad boy. He got into bed sort-of next to me, and kept whacking my leg with his tail and was giving me the stink-eye. I held my ground. Then he tried making up to me in bed by walking over my legs and then flopping against me. Okkkkayyyy that worked and Leo got scratches, but by then I wasn't going back to the kitchen to deal with a half-frozen scallop. He'll get some later, the little fart.

I think his AMBG might be a food spike - he eats most of this dinners between 3am and 6am (+8- to +11). I don't know when, I just wake up to empty dishes. I will refuse to read anything into this morning's blue, but dammit I don't want to see blue on his chart!

We have a forecasted high of 88 today. You read that right, 8-f-ing-8 degrees! Lessee, I ran last Wednesday in a fleece at 41 degrees. Putting on a tank top now!

Vines to the kittehs and beans who need them, and continued cheers for Mego and Star and Leo for their hard work (haha) during their OTJ Trials!

I'm sure you're right about the food spike; don't let it upset you. Maybe try to pick up his food sometime today, wait at least 4 hours, then get the ole gluco-monster out and give Leo a test? :lol:

Don't worry about that 101... as long as you test in a bit and he's lower, he's all good! Mego has had 3 blues, but after 2-3 hours after eating, he was down in the :mrgreen: again! You're almost there and you're over the 7 day hump. Looking good!

+3 49. So the AMBG was a food spike. I'm not surprised now - I went running and came back...and he only ate a bit of breakfast, so he must have gorged himself right before test time! Aiiii but such swings little guy - no bouncing during the trial!

Hi Ann & Maggie - he sure was! Little stinker. I just gave him a little of the scallop and he ignored it. How's THAT for passive aggressive! ohmygod_smile

Karen - the food wasn't on the counter. It was in his automatic feeder which opens 2 times in the night. I usually wake up and it's empty but I don't know when he eats it. Usually not until after 3 or so if I get up in the night for my litterbox visit.

Hey Leo - what happened - why was your bean so mean?! If you want to come here, you can get all the scallops and fish you want - of course you have to cook them or get Mannie to do the cooking. But you won't ever be deprived at my place, no way, no how! And not only that, I've got this lovely uniform, err outfit for you too! It even has your name on it - Leo - Waiter! :lol: :lol:

Hurry up with your trial, get acquitted or better yet, just skip the whole thing and come to my condo! You are going to love it here!

As for your bean - well when you leave that will certainly give her the what for....and teach her a good lesson. cat(2)_steam

Shadow gave me a 116 today and she's still good to go .... so no complaining about 101. That is still green ( especially with food on board).
