Good morning everyone. This morning calls for some serious ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) . Woke up at 4am, 5am... good thing I programmed the ~O) before I went to bed. Thank goodness for small miracles! Mego is starting the day off well and we're just one more day closer to the end goal. I hope his progress continues over this next week.

There are days, well everyday, that I feel quite guilty that Mego is doing so well in such a short amount of time while some of you have been doing this for years. I can only hope that one day there will be a cure for diabetes and none of our little kitties will have to go thru this ever again. But until that happens, I will always remember how all of you have helped me and Mego. I am sending extra extra EXTRA pancreas healing vines today to everyone! :-D

I'm pretty sure there is going to be some miralax in Mego's near future - even though I am mixing water with his food, he's still having issues with dense hard #2s. Sometimes, it just sticks to his poor butt and this morning is the first time in 15 years that I've seen him drag his poor little butt on the ground because it was stuck. :-|

Happy Hump Day Katie!! Go Mego go!!

For all of us that have been at the game a little longer, there's got to be some who finish the dance a little quicker. It might as well be you! :-D

I wouldn't hesitate to start a little miralax. It works well, isn't expensive, easy to give and doesn't seem to have any side effects. We give Zener about 1/16 teaspoon BID. You can start with that and increase a little at a time until you get the "result" that you want. I'm glad Mego is doing so well. I've often thought about the long term beans who help the newbies go OTJ in just a few weeks or months. It truly is an amazing gift. :-D Go Mego!
