Yesterday

I gave Trix her Mr Greenie for starting out in the lagoon, even though she's left for the moment. Hopefully we're just looking at a fuds spike, but it could be the start of a B, given her trends. She stuck around in the lagoon for a long time, though...happy to see that! So, at least for today, the dosecrease threat I tossed out there yesterday is off the table. Well played, Trix!

Today's breffis was BFF Tuna and Chicken 4Eva. She seemed pleased...for now. We all know that could change this evening  ! Frankie was NOT happy with her blend of Friskies T&G and Fowl Ball...I won't try that little experiment again! From last night, I already knew Trix wasn't going to go for it....but I had a little of each left, so I figured I'd take a shot with Frankie. No go.

Have a great day, LL!

Amy

"Fowl Ball" Groaaannnnn. :-D I hope Trix decides to keep surfing and that's just a food spike.

Morning Amy, paws crossed this is just a food spike, and Trixie keeps her greenie! Have a great day.

Holding my breath here that these numbers keep up.

The dinner report:
So, tried the BFF Tuna and Chicken 4EVA - the one she at this morning. You guessed it: no way tonight! I gave Frankie a side-by-side taste test of Paw Licken' Chicken and Fowl Ball. She was not happy with either of those choices; however, Trix was all over the Paw Licken' Chicken. Just keep me guessing here, kitties!

I am wondering if Trix has decided to be fussy about refrigerated leftovers. I do think the BFFs come in smaller cans, and I may try them out, just as an experiment.

Trixie, very nice green numbers today. I'm sure you will find the green lagoon again tonight.

Amy, I have bought the BFF brand food in little cans so I know they are out there. I have to buy all little cans for Simon because he seems to know the difference if it has been refrigerated. Your food experiment is expensive, isn't it? Those specialty kitty foods are so much more than grocery store brands.

Yeah, Georgia...it is costly, but one thing I can say is that , for the most part, I haven't had to actually toss any fuds. She eventually does eat them. She's now showing early renal issues with her BW, so I've had to switch her from her old FF to lower phosphorous fuds...it's definitely challenging finding fuds that are low enough in both carbs and phosphorous that she likes, thus all the fancy shamncy menus we're running here! And, actually a lot of these fuds really aren't more than the Purina One pates she was eating...those were expensive little cans!

ETA....just caught her snackin' on that tuna and chicken after all! LOL...she cracks me up.

Nice surfin' in the lagoon today, Trixie! Coming back later?

Your new fuds have great names. Can your kitties read?

Have a fine evening, Amy,

Ain't this fun, Amy? I don't have access to pet stores to try all this fancy stuff. There's a farm& feed store half hour from here, and periodically I buy different foods, and always swear I won't bother again. I need to try Cowboy Cookout again.

I hope Miss Trixie surf beautifully tonight. :-D

Hi Amy, so was that the Tuna & Chicken and Paw Lickins, too! That's not a bad spike though. Sometimes any new food causes a slight spike with Mags. I bet Trix slides back down in no time.

ETA I just saw the menu above! :-D
