Ollie slept till i woke him for his test, feed & shoot. Papa bean didn't even wake up. Ollie has curled up next to papa..who is still zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I'm off to brush "the little boys"

many prayers for all of us. i pray for comfort and blue skies, for our heavy hearts. sending lots of hugs to everyone.

It took him awhile but he eventually got to double digits - good boy, Ollie. More naps in the sun, please!

ETA...REally, i did give him his insulin tonight. I have no idea what's going on with my little guy. he's just going up and up from his pmps. Might any of you have an idea? thank you very much



oh, thank you all so much for stopping by for visits!!! I told Ollie he has been directed by all of LL to head back to the lagoon tonight. he stuck out his tongue and gave me the raspberries.
I'm just about to get a little discouraged. I thought we were starting to get back on track about 3/23. Ollie did so well on 3/29 pm cycle. He actually had about 7 hrs. surfing nice low green numbers. I thought his little body was getting used to lower numbers again and his increase to 1.75 would help to bring down the high amps and pmps. Crud... It's the end of a long day and i can't bear to look at his ss tonight. Tomorrow when the sun is shining maybe it'll look better.

OH thanks for letting me grump and whine. baby.... put on your big girl panties and get on with it. :cool: i feel better just typing it out. :roll:

Ollie's numbers tonight are making me a little nervous. He did get his shot tonight. But he's just going up and up and up. Any advice or thoughts? Crud.

He took a pretty big drop this morning...219 to 67 in three hours so I suspect Mr. L is not happy. I'd give him ten cycles and see how he's doing.

Looks to me like he likes the 2u dose. You might have to take him back up there to smooth out the bounces.

Thanks so very much for checking on us Marje. I just don't remember him ever doing this before. We certainly left the 50s in the dust. he spent such a nice long time there just a few days ago. He did do well at 2. i'll wait here for 10 and ask again before i take him back to 2. I was beginning to wonder whether his new insulin might be bad.

right, i'd forgotten about his "new" depot. I guess part of my problem is that i knew what i wanted to see. forgetting that my job is to follow and write down the numbers.

Patience pants - yup! It can be so frustrating to see the higher numbers knowing full well you didn't do a fur shot. Marje is right - he's got to fill up the tank a bit. Ollie is moving up the scale nicely without big bounces - don't get discouraged! And always feel free to dump your feelings. I've vented quite a few times in Leo's condo and if you can't dump what's eating at you, you don't really get all the support this place has to offer. Buck up! :-D
