Good afternoon LL,

Shasta and I got up at 6am for poke, shot & feed; then she snuggled with me when we went back to bed. I got lots of snuggles and purrs before we got up for her +3 poke. She's been a little mopey lately...maybe she's picking up on my pain. I was able to make it to Walmart this morning without too much pain (still dealing with massive numbness in right leg.) My goal today is to try to figure out how to ACTUALLY sew some simple things versus just faking it. But before I do that, I will break out the toys for Shasta and get a little play time in with her.

Marje, I just don't understand why there are no wine delivery services. I mean, you can get pizza delivered, medicines delivered...why not wine?! AND chocolate?! Together would be fine! Also, what do you mean by Shasta's not concentrating her urine?! Again, I have no idea what all of those numbers mean and when I picked up her results the vet was unavailable to discuss them with me. When the vet assistant called me to tell me the results were in, he said all the results came back fine and within range (except there was glucose in her urine...hence the diabetes). What should my concerns be?!?! :?

Hope everyone is enjoying your Sunday and I hope there are lots of green and blue kitties today! Blessings to all.

Snuggles and purrs is a great way to start your day. I hope Shasta keeps surfing for you. Sending prayers for your back and leg.

Hi Carla, Shasta is attached to my leg right now (silly laptop is in her way!!!!) This is going to make the sewing process a bit difficult!!!   Hope you and Furball are having a lovely Sunday!

Hi Deborah, sending healing vines for your leg. I get numbness periodically in my left thigh from a pinched nerve near my hip. Nice dip in the lagoon for Shasta. Hope you have a great day!

Very lovely cycle for Shasta this morning. Healing vines to you, Deborah. Were you in 4-H? That's where I learned to sew.

Hi Courtney, She did have a nice dip into the lagoon and she's back there now...which is way too early for her to be there. This is weird! As for my leg/back, I'll find out tomorrow what the MRI shows...pinched nerve, sciatica, bulging disc, pulled butt muscle...whatever!

Hi Liz, I kind of wish she would repeat her AM cycle versus this "too early for greens" PM cycle!!! She's not the best surfer and I get nervous and spike her food with MC. I was never in 4-H, but my mom taught me a little bit of how to sew when I was little. I remember none of that, but thank goodness for Pinterest and the Internet!!! :-D

Hey Rhiannon, Thanks for the healing vines for me. After feeding horses tonight, I learned that picking up palm frons was not a good idea. As for Shasta, I wish her mood matched that cute greeny face, but she's so moody right now.

Here are some pics of Shasta's new carrier bed cover. I'm learning to sew, so it's not perfect...but it's not too shabby. AND it has a zipper...that works! :-D AND I only had to rip out all the stitching once (from last weekend when I tried to make it at like 10pm.)

    GOOOOOOOOOOOO SHASTA!

Nice cover! I like that! Labs looked good too. Mannie too more often than not ha glucose in his urine too. Most unregulated kitties do, or so I am told.

Hope your day has been a good one, and that you feel better!

Thanks Liz! I need to tackle a few more little projects and then I will tackle a quasi-quilting project from old t-shirts.

Hi Michelle! Yeah, she definitely splashed around in the greens AND blues all day...which she never does! I'm wondering if it has anything to do with rearranging the furniture to accommodate the table & sewing machine which made her very grumpy. I don't know...maybe it's because she's a cat. Hope you and Mannie are having a good day/night!

Sorry I didn't make it around to condos today...busy trying to teach myself how to sew!!!!
