Happy Caturday,

Shasta did not join me for snuggles last night...or at least I was sound asleep if she did! Shasta's eating her breffis right now and I'm about to go back to bed. But first, I needed to rest on my side pillows!! It's supposed to be rainy today, so I imagine that Shasta and I will be lazy today. Hope everyone is having some good sleep w/ kitty snuggles.

I am so jealous that you are going back to bed. The only reason I am not, is because I have to get Stella to the vet. Hopefully it won't start raining until I am back with her, and it will be a nice 'day in' for all. ;-)

Hi Carla, she heard you say blue and decided to one-up you...we had a little green this morning! :mrgreen: Wish I could say that I was pain free, but I'm getting a good laugh out of the various "positions" I have found that relieve the pain. I feel like a pretzel...twisting this was and that way...some good, some NOT! :lol:

Hi Mary, hope you and Stella were able to avoid the rain. We must have gotten some rain storm while I was sleeping. Our electricity actually went out at some point and that rarely ever happens! Shasta and I have been super lazy and cuddly today with a few rambunctious play moments. Hope Stella had a good vet visit.

Hi Deborah, what a nice slide for Shasta today! :mrgreen: Mags was in the Green Lagoon earlier and I wonder if they met. I hope you and Shasta had a nice, restful day. How's your back today with the rain. I hope the MRI helps diagnose so you can get some help. I was catching up on yesterday.

Hi Ann & Liz, Shasta enjoyed her time in the green and blue. She's starting her PM in the yellows (as usual) and will hopefully see some more blues and greens tonight. My back is no better today. Luckily, I'm at home and can frequently get on the floor on my pillows to relieve the pain and cramping and get a little feeling back in my leg/foot.

I'm really hungry but don't have any food at my house that sounds good to my tummy. However, I'm afraid of trying to go to the grocery store because of my back. I last about 3-4 minutes (walking around) until my leg starts cramping and aching unbearably...then it's back to the floor. grr_red I know I can get some pizza delivered, but I don't know how I can get the wine delivered. :roll: :? :lol:

Did they tell you to do very little for now for your back? I wondered if the yoga child's pose might relieve any pain.
But only if they told you it was okay to stretch and move around.

I liked that green on Shasta today.

I don't see my chiropractor until Monday at noon. I haven't seen him since he ordered the MRI. But even if he had instructed me to do stretches, etc. I CAN'T! I mean, I do little tiny ones...until something pulls that shouldn't and I scream out in anguish. This pain is unreal. I finally ran up to Publix to grab pizza, wine & bananas...absolute pain while walking around, but the worst was when I got back into my car. I was being super careful, but I made one little tiny move and it felt like the nerve was being ripped from the back of my leg/butt/back. I NEED DRUGS!!!!! AAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

As for Miss Shasta, apparently, she's decided to be mello yellow tonight. Very strange. She did this the other night, but it's still weird for her. Oh well. Guess that means it's time to get ready for sleep. Sleep well, friends.

I'm so sorry your back is getting worse and you are in so much pain.

You don't have a delivery service there that delivers wine? :shock: :shock: Hummpfff... Neither do we :lol: :lol: :lol: I bet though that the grocery store would do it with groceries!

So Miss Shasta looks like she isn't concentrating her urine. Did the vet say anything?

I hope you can rest and relax and give your back a break until you see the chiro.
