Morning it looks like Maggie had a nice surf. I forgot her pm shot yesterday and shot an hour late, so I had more sleep this morning. I usually set a timer for every med and somehow fogot yesterday. It's a good thing I noticed the syringe sitting on my desk, loaded. :? I was getting another med ready is why I forgot and sleep deprived yesterday, too. Sounds like I'm making excuses. I'll have the weekend to get back on course. Mannie, looking forward to a Triple Espresso.

Four P's....I thought for sure last night the prezzie fairy would make an appearance. Mags has had some teeny poos, but not a sizeable amount. Not a good report for Detective Poo and Chief Inspector Crapdash! I wish I could do an enema at home, but she usually won't let me touch that part of her anatomy, and I think I'd have a time with it. For those who have done home enemas, is it a two person jobbie?

OH OOPS! on last nights shot... well, I've done that too. and no worse for wear in the long run. She's off to a god start this morning, all will be well! I so know that feeling when you see the syringe on the counter. ;-)

Good morning Ann - rats on the shot, but you got the extra sleep! I'm having alarm problems too, which is very unusual for me. Again I SWORE I set the alarm on my phone ... turns out I did set the time ... but again forgot to check the little box to actually turn the alarm ON. Grrrrr. I need a backup alarm, but it was good to get the extra hour this morning.

It may be a nice flat blue surf which will be great. Mags had a couple more teeny nugget size prezzies. It just seems to be moving slowly, but this is better than none at all. She seems to be feeling okay, and when I tried wiping her botttom, I got a hard slap on the hand! :shock: I'll later have to do a bottom bath!

Hi guys .. nice even surf going on this morning for maggie .. sorry to hear the LB is not seeing much poo activity .. I don't have any experience in giving kitty enema's but it sure would be nice if you could do it at home .. though maggie never seems bothered by those vetty trips either! Have a great weekend guys!

Hey Detective Poo, thanks for stopping in and checking on Mags. She's had a few teeny poo nuggets. The Miralax is doing its job, just slowly, and very, very soft but not liquipoo. Glad you had a nice holiday cation.

Hi Devon, thanks for visiting. You're right on Mags not minding a Vetty visit. Last enema she came home feeling good, and even when I had to leave her for the day when first diagnosed with Megacolon, she seemed not affected when I got her home. She gets lots of loving there at Vetty.

Hi Barb, yes I did it, too, forgot the shot because I didn't set my little timer to go off reminding me! :lol: Is it necessary the Bean needs alarms going off all the time during the day to remind me! :lol:

Yep.
Our routine: DH makes a Ripley burrito in a towel and holds her like a baby, while I inject the enema very slowly. Then he tilts her with her bum slightly elevated so the stuff will stay inside for a few minutes. Luckily, we've only had to do this several times, and the Miralax + squash has been keeping her in check (anti-jinx). I tried it on my own once, and I got the hand-slap.
