3/21 OliverTwist pmps 248 vet report.. all good!

Ollie is starving this morning. He had breffis with test and shot. now it's 15 min. later and he's sitting next to his dish. Can't ignore that sad face so he's getting a little extra breffis early.

no lb action yet, but he just woke up. I'll be calling the vet this morning to see when we can get in and have a look at that bump on his gums. There's going to be a little stress when they try to pry open his mouth. Lots of "no big deal" prayers for my sweet little one. Whatever it is doesn't seem to be affecting his ability to eat.

As always, prayers for all our kitties and beans. and wishing blue skies to everyone.

I hope you can get Oliver in to the vet today. Sending good vetty vines to Oliver. Hopefully it's nothing serious. It's good he's still eating.

Morning Mary,

Good luck with Oliver and the vet visit, hope you can get him in today. Sending all kinds of "no big deal" vines no stress vines and prayers for the visit. It's good that whatever it is isn't affecting his appetite.

Oliver, be a good boy at the vetty place. The vet is going to need to look in your mouth. Open up and say Ahhhh, ok? No biting.

well, i feel like a goofball. I was sure there was an infection or boil or some such goofiness going on in ollie's mouth. His vet looked at what i thought was a problem... looked at the other side of ollie's mouth. pronounced them symmetrical and identical. There was no issue at all. He explained to me that i was looking at the spot in a cats mouth where several different tissues come together.

the good thing is that Ollie sat quietly in my lap and let us look at his gums. No biting!! Not even hissing. Yay!!

ok, on to the next event. :roll:

Better safe than sorry, I agree! :-D How wonderful than Ollie was such a god boy. I so love it when we get good behavior at the vetty. Had a few cats that woyuld just as soon rip up the vet's arms than cooperate....

I'm so happy for you, that all is normal with Ollie.....aaaaaand a beautiful dip in the lagoon to boot. :mrgreen:

Hi Mary. Judging on the nice drop down to the green Oliver was pleased with the vet report also.

I agree with Michelle...it's better safe than sorry. Good call taking him to the vet.
