Happy Spring Everyone!

Sticking with the .5U dose. He keeps tossing in a few outside the normal range numbers just to keep us counting, I guess. Overall, he is doing quite well and I think we are getting into the swing of all of this.

I do have a new question about a bump on his nose that appeared sometime yesterday. He has also been sneezing and sniffling a bit since we got home on Saturday. He's an indoor cat so I don't think it was an insect bite or anything...any thoughts??? Here's a photo, though it is hard to see.

ETA: Looking back at old photos, it appears he has always had a slight bump here, but it definitely looks more pronounced now. Either that, or I'm losing my mind. Both are within the realm of possibility.

Maybe Clyde whacked Alfred in the nose?! Next time you're at the vet, have the vet take a look.

(BTW, Alfred looks a lot like my Gizmo.)

HI KJ,

I can't be of any help - I just stopped by to say hello. Alfred is a very handsome kitty! What breed is he? I hope his bump goes down on its own.

OK - help MY memory someone....sometime within the last 3-4 months, someone posted something about some kind of fungus or something that caused this same kind of thing in their cat. I can't even remember enough to search for it but with all our collective brains, SOMEONE should be able to remember. Was it 'rhino...something' maybe? I remember searching it and seeing this same type of pictures of it. ANYONE got a better memory than mine? <-that wouldn't take much..  Seems like maybe BJM replied in the thread too?

Alfred is one BOOTIFUL baby! I agree with Sienne, he looks a lot like Gizmo!

BIG HUGS! Sorry I'm not any help....

Alfred is very handsome.

Bonnie's Junior developed a bump on the nose. I believe it was a type of fungus that more internal but caused a bump to form.

Thank you for the replies. I have to agree...Alfred is a handsome boy. I'll try to search a little more for the rhino-something and contact Bonnie. I need to talk to the vet about the dental, so perhaps a call to them goes on the to-do list for tomorrow.
