Good morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday
AMPS 148
OH LOOK! I haz a BLUE BOY! Wait, I may have to change that...since we've officially been blessed with the Drooler 'Blue', I haz TWO BLUE boys! Guess I'll have to change that to 'I haz a BLUE KITTY'! He's feeling good and wanting to EAT EAT EAT! I'll bet we see GREEN again today! That will make 5 days out of 9 that we've seen green! That's EXCITING here! Unfortunately we're going back to the 'big blood' meter today as all these greens causing lots of testing - used up the strips Sir Rusty/Ella/Edward sent us but they lasted a long time. THANK YOU AGAIN ELLA! He's SO SO appreciated only having to 'give up' a tiny drop!!
Snow started to get a bit backed up again so dosed Miralax yesterday - just cleaned out a BIG pile right after he finished this morning so MORE celebration! I noticed night before last that he didn't want me to touch his belly, claws and teeth...I just got to rub his belly now that he's dumped that so I'm now certain that's my 'clue'. He's about to visit the clippers which he hates but he's got lots of mats developing. He mats SO badly...he'll just get in line with the little hairy droolers, they're about to get shaved too.
Leo's still doing wonderfully. I was able to get MUCH smaller needles at vet yesterday when we picked up BlueBoy drooler so no harpoons! WOOHOO!!! The original ones were 20 gauge, these are 29's. I haven't given him his a/b shot yet but will shortly. I know he'll appreciate the smaller needles too!
I planted 50 onions and 4 bitty tomato plants yesterday...then weatherman told me 'possible freeze this weekend'! Peadoodle! I'll have to cover the tomatoes with litter pails. I 'price matched' the plants at Walmart, Lowe's had them on sale - 4 pack for $1. I also got a 6-pack of petunias for the same price! Since I know I'll save lots when the tomatoes start ripening, I decided I could spend that petunia dollar for JUST ME! Don't usually do that....pennies count around here! The flowers make me feel so good when I see the bees and butterflies visiting their bright upturned faces.
Schniggles has the liquid poopies today so she's in the crate - she hates being in it but I hate worse having the floor covered in poopy spots. She got her med for it so she'll be able to get out in a couple of hours when it takes effect. 'Course that means she has to have a bath too. Oh the fun! That's OK tho', she's definitely worth all the trouble - still can't understand how someone could have dumped this old sweet baby with all her problems. HOW did they expect her to live? Maybe they didn't.... I'm SO thankful she could read that 'love here' sign that must be posted somewhere around here!
BIG HUGS to all that visit today!! We're gonna DANCE in the sunshine today! JOIN US!
