Time to put on the patience pants Susie and wait it out. I sometimes find Neko does her worst part of a bounce the second or third cycle after a low event.
Love it Liz and we are actually out to dinner now and I don't have to worry!!!! My patience pants are on.... trust me. But I feel bad for him! That's why I ask.
It's a bounce Susie, I'm quite sure without being able to ask him, that he doesn't feel so bad. Your reaction to the numbers are probably much worse than how Elian is feeling. There is nothing you can do about bounces. You just have to wait them out. As you've been told, E is a newly dx'd diabetic. His body isn't used to the highs and lows yet. Enjoy this 'bounce' time. When he starts evening out and you REALLY have to watch him, your freedom will be more limited. I don't know for sure but with all the reductions he's been taking it 'appears' that when he does settle in, he will start going down fast....that's how it APPEARS...I certainly don't know for sure as ECID.
Now take of the worry pants and Elian will 'do his thing'. You are doing great!
