Good morning everyone,
Angie is getting better and better (from her tail injury) but unfortunatly her bg numbers aren't looking good. I'm going to get the auto feeding bowls (as suggested by Rhiannon and others previously). I was trying to avoid another expense but have managed to find some second hand ones. Hopefully it's not too late and the late-cycle feeding will help to bring her bg back down again.
I also need to check if the homeopathic medicine could have an effect on her bg. I haven't given it to her since yesterday morning though. Would the effect still be showing?
I've been having a hard time getting tests from her since she hurt her tail. She doesn't want to sit in laps and is harder to keep still without accidentally touching her tail!
How often should I be doing ketone tests while she's on trial? I tried this morning and wasted 4 strips. I'll try again in an hour, when I do her next tests.
Recap from yesterday:
+6 --- 74
pmps - 155
+2 --- 115
today:
amps - 130
Yesterday's condo is here.
Courtney - you've sold Miami very well. I read your post to my partner and we both think it sounds like a great place to visit. I'm not interested in clubs either - the cultural diversity, good food, book festival and film festival are all much more my style! Although, with all those Central and South American cultures, I reckon there would be some good places to go salsa dancing (something I used to do a bit of but don't really any more).
Rhiannon - thanks for the tips. I'm going to try the auto feeders and separate the two cats at night time so that I know what each has eaten. I've been getting them used to sleeping separately just in case it would come to this. Jetzin doesn't like the separation when there's food involved. He's not that devoted to Angie; he's convinced that her food is better than his (grass is greener thing - they're the same). Hopefully it will work.
Have a lovely day everyone. I hope all the kitties find their surfboards (and that Angie finds her green one!).
