Furball was happy & purry this morning. She dove into her food like she was starving. I'm hoping the pink this morning isn't from her going low last night and not having food available. I hate having to fast them all. Poor MC is looking for her food. I wish I could take her to the vet right now instead of waiting two hours. This is going to be a long two hours.

I mentioned yesterday that MC's dental is this morning. She will most likely have to have all of her teeth taken out.

Thanks everyone for the dental vines for MC. I just spoke to the vet. She only has to have 10 teeth removed, not all of her teeth. Yay! She will be left with 3 canine teeth and 8 incisors. She was missing a tooth when I adopted her as a stray. I need to look at a diagram of a cat's mouth to see where her remaining teeth are.

Furball is coming down nicely. Maybe I'll see some blue this afternoon.

Lovely update on MC! I'm glad that she is able to have some of her teeth still. This is good! Furball is looking very good! Nice slow drop is what we like. :-D Have a good day guys, and wishing for MC to make a full and speedy recovery, which I know she will. Lots of wet food for that kitty! :lol:

You'll get good pain meds, for home?

I hope her vetty smell doesn't cause trouble at home..mine always hiss at the poor patient, when he comes home :lol:

Wow -good news on the teeth! I'm glad MC gets to keep some but it's still going to be a tough time for a little while, so lots of vetty and healing vines too.

I just spoke with the vet and she said everything went well. MC is in recovery now. I will be able to pick her up in a couple of hours.

Furball should have the blue soon so you only have to worry about MC today ! relax and have a great day ! all will be fine very soon for you guys !

MC is home now. She's doing pretty good. Her mouth is bothering her. I'm sure it feels funny. They gave me Bupe and Anitrobe Aquadrops to give her for about a week. Furball had to sniff all over her because she smelled funny. :roll:

Furball's +7.75 was 227. If she dipped into blue, I missed it.

Hi Carla, sending lots of healing vines for MC. I bet after recovering, she's going to feel so much better with the bad teeth gone. Mags doesn't have too many teeth left either.
Good to see Furball come down! Now you can relax a little, Carla, that it's all over.
 
I hope to see some blue from Furball tomorrow. It looks like she was mostly yellow today.

Poor MC growled at me when I gave her the Antirobe Aquadrops (liquid AB). She hates taking that. I'm sure it didn't help that she probably feels lousy right now. She didn't growl when I gave her the Bupe earlier.

Sending lots of healing vines to MC so she gets over her dental. That's a lot of teeth, but at least she still has the major ones.

So glad to hear that MC only had 10 extractions. She'll be happy in a few days not to have those bothersome teeth. Rusty has only 5 teeth (including his bottom canines, but not the top ones). He does very well eating. Fortunately all but one of his extractions were before he came to live with us!

Hey Furball, that kitty is MC! Be nice!

Sienne, yes I have baby food. She has shown no interest in food this evening. They told me she might want to eat a little, but don't let her overdo it if she does.

Ella, it's amazing to think they can eat with so few teeth or with no teeth.
 
Very glad MC got to keep so many teef - yay! Sending some feel better soon vines - a good long nap at home is just what lil MC needs! Furball, wouldn't you like to sing the blues?
 
Oh that poor baby MC! ten teeth! Hugs hugs hugs for her. I'm sure she's so happy to be home.
