Yesterday

And it's back to the lagoon for Miss Trix! She had a lovely, safe 60s surf last night, without a bounce this morning. Yay, Trix!

Thanks for all the info and help yesterday. I'm still processing things. In the meantime, Trix certainly doesn't act as if she's got any stinkin CKD issues, no siree! She is just as feisty and wiggly-butted during AMPS as ever! She is super sweet all the time, but in the morning's before breffis, she is always VERY lovey dovey - and today she really poured it on! I guess she wanted to reassure her mamabean a bit.

Tough night with "The Rambunctious 5", though. DH ended up going to work an hour late today, because he was just so exhausted from it. I'm wiped, too, but fortunately don't have to be at work as early as he does. I attempted a "preemptive strike" and went to bed extra early, in hopes of "front loading" some sleep before the middle-of-the-night chaos begun, but Petey - who never ever makes a peep outside the bedroom door - would have none of that! He cried and cried until DH got home from volleyball, even after I got up and sat with him for 10 minutes. Frankie worked on her door- rattling skills starting at about 3:00am, and didn't give it a rest until about 4:30 or so (half an hour before I get up), and after several visits from both DH and I. I guess it is what it is...Zen won't let anyone else in with us, so we've just got to deal when they have these flare ups. It throws my whole schedule off, since I'm too tired to workout before work...instead, I have to do it after work, which pushes the whole night back. But what can ya do??? Kitties rule. At least they are cute, sweet, and they obviously love us...and we love them.

Oh my, so sorry about the big flare-up of the door rattling and the natives so restless! I wonder if they're suffering the side effects of DST, along with us! I hope this was just an isolated flare and back to normalcy tonight. I'm really trying hard not to laugh, but visualizing this scene........with the door rattles.
On the CRD, kitties are so nonchalant with all they have going on. My Vet seems surprised that Mags is doing so well with all she has going on. Trixie is the same sweet lovey kitty, and it does sound like she senses your worry and wants to reassure MamaBean.

:shock: on the The Rambunctious 5. wow on it all... but they do rule, don't they. I will hope for a calm night tonight for you and DH, with cute, cuddly, sweet and very sleepy kitties.

What a nice start for Trixie today - she always has such great cycles. Nice to see green last night, and even nicer that there is no bounce this morning. GO TRIXIE! You so totally rock. I am sure you will be able to monitor and control her CKD just fine. They never seem to know, or mind, that there are things afoot medically. It is the same with Mannie. He too is just as much Mannie as he ever was. They so know how to reassure us...

Still hangin' in the lagoon :mrgreen: ! (Actually, +1 is coming up shortly, so we shall see!). I did HC that 61 - again, not something I'd normally do, but I had to leave for work, and HC generally props her up for a few hours. Hopefully she just stayed flat all day long...at the very least, she was certainly feelin' fine when I got home.

Maybe the CKD will clear up--it could! I'll add the little bugger to my prayer list. And how sweet that she's turned into the mama to her mamabean!!! cat_pet_icon Hope the brats don't keep you & DH up tonight & that Trixie surfs safely ;-)

Such a restful night! Brings back memories of Stu (but he accomplished it all by himself!).

I hear ya' on the antics keeping you up, although we only have two cats and most of the antics come from Hershey! Hershey will sit outside our bedroom door and cry, just wanting someone to be up with him. After a while, if he thinks we aren't hearing him, he'll put his mouth to the crack under the door and cry louder! I have found that SOMETIMES it'll quiet him down if I leave a light on in the living room. I think, maybe, he thinks I'm coming right back? And, SOMETIMES it helps if we stuff something (like a towel) under the door. I think it ticks him off that he can't get his mouth under the door and goes off to sulk. :lol: I don't know if either of those would help you or not, but I hope they let you get some sleep tonight!

Have you tried the feliway? Personally, I'd have the squirt bottle handy... :roll: But you have far more patience than I do. Sending calming vines for a restful night. Wow, Trix is doing so well!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Just a wee bit of a fuds spike, then it's back to business here!

I can't bring myself to use a squirt bottle on them....I'm too much of a softee. They just want to be with us...it's just hard finding the balance with all the different personalities. They get along great 99% of the time, but Zen is just not willing to share the bedroom and beans at night. Just another day in the life....
