Good morning, LL. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O)
All is good in Ripley's world, though it sure does feel like it's too early to be up...

Thanks for the visits last night, Sam and Deborah.

Hugging ((Georgia)) and ((Judy)) today, and looking forward to celebrating with Muffin and Anne.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O)

I concur! I does feel like it is way to early to be up and moving... darn DST!

Ripley you are off to a great start today - I like your amps! You surf well today, 'K?

Have a great one today, hope all goes well.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Morning Josie, way too early, and I'm on the west coast and up already! ~O) Nice start of the day for Ripley. Mags has started snubbing the Evo Turkey & Chicken. Have a great day.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Ann, the Evo Ch/T didn't last long with Ripley, either. I think she puts it in the same category at the Merrick Before Grain 96% Turkey: Yuck.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Hahaha, another fussy eater, I see :-D

Hi Josie....thanks for visiting our condo. :-D
I've seen handsome Ripley many times in condos, but have never been here. Sorry.
Lovely blue start to his day.....I love blue preshots.

Have a wonderful day.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Nice start for Ripley this morning. WTG! Hoping for a very lovely surf for you both.

I have to be fortunate to not have a fussy eater with my Blackie. She LOVES Evo 95% C&T.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Hi Josie. Great to see Ripley start her day off so well. Hopefully she will surf here for a while and then venture to the Lagoon.

Have a great day.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

It is really tough to get up in the dark! Don't know why they insist on starting DST earlier and earlier each year.
Lookin' good with that 140 start, Ripley.

Have a great day, Josie, thanks for visiting us,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Hi, Barb, no apologies necessary  .There are so many of us LL-ers, it's hard to visit all, much less most. I'm glad you stopped by!

Hi, Angela, you're lucky to not have a picky eater; Ripley didn't used to be fussy until I introduced wet fuds and she realized that there exists a VARIETY of FLAVORS ~ her whole world expanded, and then she became finicky   .

Hi, John, I'm hoping for a lagoon visit, too... we'll see. Thanks for the visit!

As I was leaving the house for work a few minutes ago, I noticed Ripley curled up on her rocking chair, looking so sweet and cute ~ I couldn't resist giving her a little kiss on her head. Then I was quickly reminded that she doesn't like kisses, as she pulled away and gave me a look that said, "I was SLEEPING, mom." I couldn't help it.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Nice start for Ripley today. Too cute about the kisses. Sometimes I just have to snatch mine up and squeeze 'em, even tho they hate to picked up. I tell them that's the price they have to pay for being so darned cute! Have a good day at work, Ripley should be at Muffin's party by the time you get home!

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Lovely start for Ripley. Depending on how today goes, after PMPS it will be 10 cycles at this dose. It may be time to think about increasing Ripley's dose. (And please allow Ripley to read my post!)

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140

Hi, Anne, oh how I wish they'd welcome our affection! And that IS what they get for being so cute  .

Hi, Sienne, I was thinking the same thing about increasing... sometimes she reads these posts, and sometimes she's too busy snoozing  .

Ya hear that Ripley? There's a likely increase coming your way.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140, +9 89

Hi Josie, nice dip in the lagoon today for Ripples!

Have you tried any of the purina foods? FF is manufactured by Purina, so the foods are very similar. Kismet had been eating DM before we switched him over to FF (essentially the same exact thing but cheaper! ) We've tried Purina One, too, which he loves. K feels the same way about Evo and Merrick BG... hates, hates, hates them. Unfortunately, I bought them by the bulk and am stuck with all these cans. I add a tsp of BG or Evo to every can of FF and mix it up (haha -- tricky) and that helps make the food last a bit longer. He eats it all, but won't hoover it like he does if it is straight FF.

Re: 3/12 Ripley AMPS 140, +9 89

Hey, Ripley - Die you see that DOSECREASE threat?!?!?!?! :o That +9 was nice; you might want to keep your numbers in the range to make your mom happy!

Sorry about the picky eater; I feel your pain. Hershey usually eats like a champ, Oreo? Not so much. :YMSIGH:

Have a great night -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Re: 3/12 Ripley PMPS 104

Trix is no fan of Evo and that Merrick stuff, either! I finally got her settled on her current FF and Purina One, and now I have to search for something that's lower in phosphorus (actually, I don't know where the Purina stands...maybe, with any luck, it's OK!). She wasn't picky until I attempted feeding her fuds that was supposedly healthy - typical kid!

Good luck with the dosecrease if you go for it! Have a great night!

What a crazy chain of events tonight.
As I was preparing Ripley's dinner, I heard a crash and found that she had managed to climb up to a shelf and knock over a flower vase filled with water onto our tv and various electronics. (She isn't/never has been much of a climber!)
I think the noise and my reaction (expletives!) worried her; she seemed scared/sad after I cleaned everything up.
I tested her at +11.5 (upon giving her Pepcid to her): 97.
Then at what would've been her preshot half an hour later, she dropped to 89.
I was worried about shooting a dropping number, so I waited 15mins: 104 (much better).
BUT, as I was shooting her, our civviecat decided that would be a good time to ambush Ripley; as a result, I gave either a furshot or partial (there was some wetness and the strong smell of band-aids).
ohmygod_smile
On top of all that, Ripley isn't crazy about the food combo tonight and she's not touching it.
Sheesh.

Courtney, thanks for visiting. Unfortunately, the food options are limited due to Ripley's FD and CKD. She likes Cowboy Cookout, which is both low in carbs and phosphorus, but it's too rich for her. So I usually mix it with another low-carb/low-phos food.

Hi, Libby, I may have messed up that whole dosecrease threat with the possible partial shot. Oh well.

Amy, Ripley was doing great with her food preferences, too, until we had to go 'healthy.' Cats.

Re: 3/12 Ripley PMPS 104

Oh, Josie - When it rains it pours!! I'm so sorry. But, even with a fur shot, it's just one cycle. I can't TELL you how many times I've had to say that to myself

Re: 3/12 Ripley PMPS 104

Haha, Libby!
When it rains it pours!
That's literally true in our case! Still cleaning water and drying out plugs and outlets  .

I've given furshots/partials before, but it's always so disappointing (for a few minutes, anyway).

Not sure how much of this +3 is furshot or food spike (she just finished the last third of her dinner an hr. ago) or both. ohmygod_smile
Looks like cycles-counting will start over tomorrow...

Good night, LL. I-)
