Yesterday.

Good morning, LL.
Ripley is doing very well this morning. All Ps, CPC.
I had to carry her from our bed to her testing chair this morning. Sleepy girl.
I'm going to carry myself btb now. Sleepy bean.

Hi Josie. Had a good laugh when I read that you had to carry Ripley out of bed this morning  . I guess she let's her tummy tell her when it's time to eat, not some dumb old thing called a clock. Looks like she'll be at the Lagoon today.

Have a great day.

Re: 3/10 Ripley AMPS 107

Hi Josie! Nice AMPS for Miss Ripley! Hope you have a good nap and a great day. (Paws crossed for some lagoon time!)

Hi, Michelle, I guess LL kitties are exhausted from yesterday's picnic (& microbrews) .

Hi, Mary, it IS a beautiful day! The sun is shining over the lagoon today  .

Hi, John, yes, despite my gradual 15-min. adjustments to prepare for the time change, you'd think that everyone in this house (furries and beans) was caught off guard! And you lagoon prediction was accurate  .

Hi, Courtney, btb AND lagoon = happy beans and sugarcat  .

Yay! We're here in the Sunday lagoon and it's so beautiful. There is sunshine, birds (well, our chickens) singing (clucking), a cute turtle basking, and kitties taking their midday naps. There's also the scent of bacon cooking (yes, we are getting an extremely late start today  ). There's also fresh-squeezed o.j. waiting patiently to be turned into mimosas. mmmmmm

So this morning I copied Marje's idea of cutting holes in a box and having Ripley work for her testing treat (she's never been much of an active/playful kitty, so why not start now in her golden years?). She had a challenging time figuring it all out: she put her nose into one of the holes and tried pawing at the treat with her paw outside of the box (she was only about 7" away from the treat   ohmygod_smile ). Finally she got the treat, and went back to her rocking chair for a well-earned nap (that was exhausting for her! ). A few minutes later I heard a little commotion: our civvie cat Smokey had managed to shove her whole head into the tiny hole and got it stuck.  When I tried to pull the box off her head, it was SO STUCK that I thought I was going to have to use scissors! Serves her right ~ she's always trying to get Ripley's food, treats, anything (even though Smokey has her own). Entertaining, indeed.

Re: 3/10 Ripley PMPS 119

LOL....sounds like a fun day with the treat box  ! Very nice surf for Miss Ripley!!!

Re: 3/10 Ripley PMPS 119

Kismet got his treat box stuck on his head the other day!!!   He has since mastered the treat box and has figured out to use the three different openings to move the treat around... it's too easy now. So funny...

Breakfast sounded wonderful. I could have used a mimosa...or two...or three

Ripley is looking great. Yay on the treat box but poor Smokey    Tobey just pushes his head against it until he pushes it into a wall and the treats come out

I hope you all had a lovely day!

Sounds like everybody is enjoying the sunny Sunday! Surf the green Ripley, you must be feeling great!
