Yesterday

Trix continues to work her current dose very nicely...she's enjoying the lagoon once again! I should hear from the vetty today with her BW results....

It was a quiet night with the civvies - woohoo! I weighed PeteyPie yesterday, and he re-gained even more weight - he's now back up to 10.6lbs, up from the 8.3lbs he weight in January when he was sick from the crappy Blue Basics Turkey and Potato fuds! I haven't weighed Zen again yet (he had also lost 2lbs), only because he wasn't in the vicinity of the scale when I weighed Pete, but I can tell by picking him up that his weighed is also still on the rise. Yay!

It's snowing here...blech. I thought we were done with this stuff for the year! That means it'll probably be a slow day at the store...

Great news on Petey and Zen. It is much harder to get that weight back on. Sounds like they are on their way. Great news about the quiet night. You definitely deserve it.

Morning Amy, an all around good condo this morning with Trixie in the Green Lagoon and PeteyPie gaining weight. That is great the food is working out so well with all of them. I hope the snow doesn't keep the Customers away today. I know when it rains here, people still do shop, so hope it's the same there today if the snow isn't too bad. Gave a great day.

Just talked to the vetty...everything looked good, except her kidney values are slightly elevated. Argh. Her creatinine was 2.6 (normal .6-2.4), and her BUN was 40 (normal 14-36). They weren't able to get urine the other night, so we have to take her back for a draw to see if this is the result of slight dehydration or the start of CKD. I'm hoping DH can take her over tomorrow, while I'm at work.

Nice AMPS, Trixie! I hope that the re-test of the urine specimen will be in the normal range. Very good news about Petey and Zen gaining back the weight they lost.

She's got a lovely surf going.

Trix's urine draw is at 8:40 tomorrow morning...it's early enough that both DH and I can go. Hopefully it is far enough away from breakfast that she'll have urine, and not so far away that she'll have peed. I hate having to take her back so soon.

She did have a couple other values that could indicate a bit of dehydration, so I'm going to hold on to that for now. I know that if it'd early CKD, we'll be able to manage it, but after how rough last year and early this year were, I so desperately want a little bit of peace on the vetty front :YMSIGH: ....

Hi Amy, great start to the day for Miss Trixie cat! Paws crossed that the dehydration is nothing serious and sending good urine draw vines.

Hi Amy, fingers and paws crossed that the renal values were just due to dehydration. What a nice surf today for Trixie girl!

Don't be bummed about the labs, lets see if it's dehydration first. If it isn't you can handle what ever lil trixie throws at you. Also you on top of it early, that's awsome. pro-active not reactive. sending good vetty vines and even better result vines. thinking of you and lil trixie. most of all enjoy her, she's not sweating the situation, she's just living in the moment. Smile

I'm so happy to hear that Petey and Zen have gained back some of the lost weight...I know you haven't weighed Zen, but I know that you can tell if he is a bit heavier.
I'm certain you're very attuned to how your kittys look and feel.

Hope your customers don't let a little....or a lot..of snow, scare them off. :-D

Nice numbahs for little missy this evening!

The store was SLOW today! I taught a class with two students at 2:00 - they were the only two to set foot into the store until about 4:45 (we close at 5:00!) People here are silly about the snow.
 
Paws crossed for some peace on the vetty front.

Thanks for the help on the adequan.. sounds like it may take a little more than she indicated for it to accumulate.
 
Good luck on the test tomorrow. Beautiful numbers today!

I'm glad Petey has gained some weight. I'd be :-x about snow in March, too :lol:
