Happy Friday to you! It didn't start out so great for me personally, I woke up at 4:30am with a scratchy throat and stuffed up nose...guess all the stressing caught up to me. I got up, drank water, gave Chyna kisses (and saw all the overnight food was EATEN! which made me feel much better, yay!) and went BTB till the alarm.

Now I'm up to get ready for work, and Chyna is feeling mighty good this morning! She got up off the bed, followed me around, and sat on the (closed carpeted) toilet lid while I showered, after opening that mysterious cuboard in the bathroom she likes to leave open. Then she jumped up on the counter, I haven't seen her up there since last fall. What a change from yesterday morning! Maybe it's the pain meds helping, but it sure was nice to see :-D Peeing, Purring and preening. AND finally poo just now! It looks a little soft, maybe I overdid it with the oil/vaseline...

Her AM glucose test is the same as yesterday, and I'm thinking to skip this morning just to see what she goes to, since still no insulin this week and I'm going to work? Especially since she's only had a few bites of breakfast so far. Last nights PM +3 test was up only 4 points from the PMBG and she did go down from AM to PM...

Hi guys .. what a nice condo report! Well, aside from the scratchy throat :sad: I sure am glad to see some LB reports going on here .. hope chyna keeps having success there .. have a great weekend guys!

yay poo and nice numbers, im no expert but its nice to think maybe the dental helped mr.p do its job, another otj party would be nice...just saying
hope you feel better and good job caring for chyna she's lucky to have you, but i'm sure you say the same about her cat_pet_icon

I am lucky to have her:) I didn't think I'd ever be so happy to see poo, haha. Well, I have another question. She ate all her food today and last night overnight, and PM glucose was just 126. Should I do another test tonight to see if things are working? Or see if she will eat supper (on time) and shoot? If I shoot, should I just do a tiny amount? I'd like to see if she can keep these levels by herself...are these good numbers for kitties at AM and PMBG?

How about skipping. However, can you get a test at around +3? I want to see if Chyna brings her numbers down a little bit on her own.

I agree with Sienne, Rachel. I think her PSs have largely been consistent. I would definitely get a +3 to see if the pancreas is working.

Will skip and do a +3. She actually ate 3/4 of her supper at once tonight, and meowed at my feet while I mixed it with water, so her appetite must be back:) Thanks Marje and Sienne :-D

Nice numbers, nice report...so glad Chyna is feeling better now! And ya for poo!!
 
I'm not sure what it all means or what to do next, I guess I just check it one day at a time and hope...just happy to know that maybe my baby girls mr.P may be sputtering on! dancing_cat
