HAPPY MONDAY!!

What a weather change - yesterday it was flip-flop weather! Today, it definitely looks like winter - no sunshine to be seen and getting colder as the day goes on!

OT: Doug usually drives the van (in my name) to work. The inspection has lapsed and I don't want to get a ticket since I'm doing all of the driving right now. Took it in and...it failed. :YMSIGH: Seems to need lots of things, some of which my two-armed husband could've done. Joseph called over the weekend to say he'll be home for ~4-1/2 days starting Saturday evening and wanted to know what we needed help doing. Perfect timing!! So, with Joseph's knowledge and Doug talking him through it, they can do most of what needs to be done - YIPPEE!! Then, to Walmart for sick supplies for Jessica and Doug (who feels like he's getting a cold - as if he needs that right now!) and test strips. Picked up taxes and Doug was spent...He's recharging now, while I'm boiling beans for supper (Red Beans & Rice), waiting on a call from his dr (He's developed a Percocet headache, so I'm asking for something different.) and starting today's condo...then, on to my to-do list. It's almost 4pm, so I have no delusions I'll finish it today...

Hershey and Oreo started the day "hoo-rawing" (as my grandma would say), so I knew Hershey felt good even before testing! :-D I've not seen poo today, but all other P's in place. And, maybe he waited until we got home, so we wouldn't miss the glorious aroma! Last night, when I went to bed at +7.25 and he was (70), I remarked to him that it sure would be nice if he could surf that until AMPS. I'm sure his compliance was accidental, but it was lovely to see that AMPS (70)! When he was surfing (147/146), I thought maybe he'd run out of greens, so was HAPPY to come home at +10.25 and see  !

Thank you for taking to time to stop by today. Hope you're having a wonderful day!!!

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Hi Libby, sounds like you have your plate full taking care of everyone. I remember we had inspections in PA, and one year my Camaro wouldn't pass inspection. Here we have smog inspections. Sending poo vines for Hershey. I hope all goes well with getting a ne med for Doug. Looks like Gershey is sliding down for the pmps. Take care.

Re: 2/25 Hershey AMPS(70)PMPS(119)+5.5(77) Doug fever

Hey, Ann - Great to see you! You're right on the full plate right now. I keep thinking I'll get better at this, but it hasn't happened, yet. Hershey kind of surfed to his PMPS, absolutely THRILLED with the blues/greens!

I had high hopes of getting to condos tonight...An hour or so after I posted today's condo, Doug started having chills. We tried a warm shower. Then, we turned the portable propane heater on him, covered him with the heating pad on his core, two light blankets, an uber heavy quilt and Oreo. :-D It became obvious he had a fever - 101.4F, so he ate his red beans & rice, plus jello for supper, then back to the blankets, etc. Checked and still 101.4F - called the after-hours on-call (8:55pm) and she said someone would call me right back. Waited...decided to treat him myself and see if we could get the fever down. Jello - popsicle - cool compresses, ibuprofen at 11pm. 101.2F - called, again. This time, I heard back. On-call dr said to have him seen in am. If wound not red/inflamed, may have something else going on, like the flu. Wouldn't THAT be just peachy?! Praying it resolves and is neither infection NOR the flu!

Going to get Doug in bed, then grab a little sleep before shot time (3-1/2 hours, if I hurry!) - Goodnight, friends...hope y'all have a peaceful night...
