Yesterday was ..... Postal Pink day in MannieLand, at least for the morning cycle. :roll: I kept thinking last night how looking at his SS is painful.... duh. Mannie Had a great mid blue night on the 21st, a great blue run on 2/16-2/18, but.... not much else since. I remember thinking how I do believe that overall things are slowly getting better for him, but wow - it is taking forever. And thinking that maybe I do need to seriously consider fattening the dose to bring this down some, should he not find those blues again in the next day or two. He at least deserves that much: a better place, to feel good, more blues. I was thinking how we shall see how the next day or two goes. And then BAM, the PM cycle hit - a glorious dive to the green lagoon, where he did surf for a while.... so.... no dosecrease today. Of course with that glorious dive came a horrific trampoline performance, all the way to the alpha zones... :YMSIGH: I hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! All is well in MannieLand. I write above about getting Mannie to a better place, where he can feel great. I spent time yesterday just watching him. In all reality things truly are well in MannieLand. He is content, doing the things he loves. I believe he knows something is amiss, but has accepted that, and continues to do what he wants, when he wants, and how he want's to do it. Life is good for him. Illness has not affected how he views things in MannieLand, and that small suburb known as NannerVille out in the back yard. Yesterday he spent the morning, as he does every weekend morning, camped out in the kitchen while our breffis was being prepare. Waiting for that bacon to drop, or that hunk of cheese, or that drop of milk. He was happy. One could see it on his face - and that warmed my heart. Life is good in MannieLand. Appy has been good (picky !!!, but good), CPC yesterday and this morning, LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. I think I can still say: Normalcy in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! It will be catch up day here: shopping, errands, laundry, cleaning... all that I didn't do yesterday. and Maybe finish those darn taxes! UGH on that... I hope to be able to get out for a small local hike too. Paws crossed.

Morning Michelle and hope Mannie comes down from the bouncy. I remember when you were thinking of a dosecrease, and then he surprised you with some blues. Mannie hear that, a dosecrease threat is in effect, so let's see you strut your stuff. :lol: Sending lots of healing vines to Mannie for a good day today. It's good to hear his routine, and I hear ya on watching him. I know Mags doesn't move as easily lately or do her running after a poo as in the olden days, but they don't realize they have an illness.

Mannie really gives my heart a workout, When I come on here and see HI, I'm ashamed to admit, sometimes I don't respond because I don't know what to say, that is light-hearted, and optimistic.
Then I read a post, like today, when Mannie is so wonderully encouraging, doing his own thing, oblivious to the fact that his bg is not what the mama and aunties would like.
I love reading that Mannie is still King of the 'nanners, and letting his sister play with them for a while, then cleaning off her slobber. I love that he checks the yard, and does all his special Mannie things. The anticipation of bacon on the kitchen floor, is just as great, no matter what the morning numbers are. :lol: What a boy!!

Last nite was fantastic....do you ever sleep? @-) Hoping for gorgeous numbers today...blue would be lovely

Glad to hear of contentment and normalcy. Maybe the Hi's are a little combo bounce and reaction to the 20%..and 14%....
at least I hope so.

Hope the next test is back in the numbers instead.

I'm not so impressed with filing taxes with turbotax... it's been 10 days for mine . waiting to see how many days it takes to get the refund.
but so far, I could have just mailed it.

Morning Rhiannon Yeah I know on those HI's.... I so hate the alpha floor. But he is OK, just running very high today, and you are right: it is a combo of the greens, the fast drop to get there, and the HC that I had to use to slow him up. It was no surprise that he bounced as high as he did. bummer, but so it goes. he'll cm down sometime today, for sure. I know on the taxes... I too use Turbo Tax, think it does an OK job, but yes on the wait. In the past, for me, it has been about a 10 day wait.

Morning Barb Thank you for all that, and no worries. I know... there are many times when I struggle to be positive when other beans are struggling. One of the reasons that I as a condo poster, really try to present the whole picture. While the HI reads are awful, very hard to deal withe, Mannie on the whole is good. He's doing his thing, and happy doing so. I too love all the things he does, and will have to make sure he gets some outdoors time today should he want to go out. He will be as he is - awful numbers or not. I love that about him. You are a very kind person, and I thank you for all you wrote. Does my heart good.

After the excitement of seeing the lagoon tonight, these HIs really stink It's amazing what a trooper he is though. Mannie is one cool cat... not much fazes him, does it? I do fervently hope you see some blues today, and more importantly, that you start seeing more consistency. Even consistent low yellows would be nice! Have a great day, guys.

Yeah the sun is out today and it actually feels a little warmish on my fur! It's going to be a great day in NYC today! I am so excited! I even have a surprise for everyone! I got us front row seats to CATS! That doesn't mean you get to sit in the balcony. So, get yourself downstairs asap!


and guess what else - we are going to have a special part in the show! The BMG will get to perform and Tess, Zener, Rusty Curie, Ollie and Maggie all get to wear tutus and dance! I know it will be silly to see boyies in tutus....but that is what makes it so fun.

And at the end of the show, we get to go backstage and meet all the "Cats"! we can tell them all about the dire beasties and bee gees and how great we are and how to act like cool kittehs like us!
