HAPPY FRIDAY!!
I think I had too many alarms set last night and too much on my mind. I was so sleepy, I took a nap at PM +6.5. The 1st alarm was to test Hershey at PM +8, just in case he was thinking of pulling shenanigans. No problem. The 2nd alarm was to give Doug his percocet. I thought I heard it, jumped up to dispense the med and saw I was more than an hour early. Back to sleep. Happened again, arrgghh! Back to sleep and - yepperz, again - GOOD GRIEF! This time it was only :15 early, so I went ahead and gave it to him. 3rd alarm was test/feed/shoot. No problem. Didn't really get back to sleep knowing the 4th alarm was to get up. I think I was worried I'd oversleep and Doug would be late to his post-op appointment. Thankfully, the rain/snow/rain predicted turned out to be mostly rain, with a little sleet and didn't cause any driving issues.
Anyhoo - all is well with Hershey; all P's in place. I haven't seen a lot of ripping and roaring, but I've been gone much of the day and busy the time I have been home. I took Doug to the mall to walk around, since it was too cold to walk outside. Got home/tested at +8.66, so don't know if I caught nadir or not. Either way, Hershey seems to be enjoying the .6u and I'm lovin' seeing these blues and greens!
Q: It seems as Hershey feels better, he starts to develop new/bad habits. The latest? Knocking over trashcans and strewing/chewing the trash. cat(2)_steam Any ideas on how to deter him? It started off with the kitchen trashcan. He'd stand on his hind legs, put his front feet on the upper edge and tip it over. Now, he more often knocks over Jessica's bathroom trashcan and plays. Can you say, "FRUSTRATED?!" Any ideas are appreciated!
Thanks for coming over; have a wonderful weekend!!
