AMPS 228
+3.5 195
+7 159
PMPS 302 (!)
+3.5 212

This morning she started her 4th cycle of the dose increase; not too crazy about the numbers, considering another increase Sunday night (ya hear that Ripley?!?).
I miss her pretty greens/blues.

But aside from numbers, Ripley is doing GREAT! I feel like I have my old girl back. She's back to her old-girl antics: chewing on house plants/newspapers when it's close to feeding time (Look, mom, I'm soooo hungry!), crawling under the covers to curl up next to my tummy (our little secret, since DH doesn't approve), demanding tub water each morning, and much more vocal. She's back to her pre-UTI/pre-Clavamox behaviors. (She didn't have any strong, adverse reactions to Clavamox -- i.e., no vomiting -- but I don't think she felt 100% while taking it.)

I'm sending love to Noni, Lyresa, and Michelle.
I'm sending healing vines to ailing kitties and beans.
I'm sending "GO FOR IT!" vines to the OTJ-trial kitties: Molly, Jackson, Honey, and Ruben. Have there been so many trials at the same time before in LL? This is so exciting!

Happy Caturday, everyone!

OT: I've been inspired by my recent trip to Disneyland. No, I'm not going to make any Churros -- I'm planting flowers! Pansies, snapdragons, primroses, more pansies... Our yard needs color! And maybe a Mickey Mouse face... (just kidding -- well, sort of). I bet Ripley will be basking by my side while I'm gardening today. How picture-perfect!

Re: 2/16 Ripley AMPS 247

Morning Josie! I hope the dose threat works it's magic! Think green Ripley. The flowers sound beautiful - have fun in the garden today.

Re: 2/16 Ripley AMPS 247, +3 334

Hi Josie. Hopefully the threat of an increase will get Ripley's attention and she'll bring her numbers down. I commend you on doing gardening. Gardening/yard work are "must do" chores for me but they do get done. I'll bet your yard is going to look great when the flowers begin to bloom.

Have a great weekend Josie.

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O)

YAY! Ripley is better! That is great. It is nice when they feel good again and go back to their pre-sick behaviors. Now all we need is the blues and greens Ripley. Go for i!

Enjoy your day today -and the flower planting. How pretty... :-D :-D  I have green moss! lots of green moss....

Love all the trials too - we have had a few where there have been so many - very exciting!

Hi, John, hi, Michelle!

I planted several flats of flowers, but it doesn't really look like much.
But it looks much better than it did!

I found a can of BG Turkey and gave it to Ripples for dinner (she used to eat it, but only for a short time ~ too bland?).
She keeps going over to her bowl, then 'yelling' at me, w/o actually eating anything.
Back to Wellness Turkey tomorrow right now.

And re: the dose increase tomorrow night: Ripley seems to be saying "Bring it!" So I will...

She's been taking her sweet time eating lately, so I switched it up a bit, thinking a new flavor was in order. Unfortunately, the 'new' flavor was BG Turkey (which is actually an 'old' disliked flavor that I had tried in early diagnosis, before I knew about adding treats, etc., for enticement). She didn't even touch it tonight. Still disliked. So she happily ate her usual Wellness Turkey.

But immediately after eating, Ripley jumped onto the couch and went into a 'crescent moon' position, with her eyes open and gazing, pulling her arm into her side as if tensing it. She used to do this pretty regularly after eating in the beginning of her FD in Nov. She seemed to be very uncomfortable and not herself. This lasted about an hour (as it used to, also) and then she perked up and bathed herself.

Then it was time for her fluids (2nd dose, first was Thurs. evening). She cried out when the needle went in, then bit my DH's hand and broke skin. Ouch for both of them! But I was able to distract her with some treats, and the rest of the fluid treatment went well. She is now sleeping, poor girl.

I'm wondering if her yellow numbers (& occasional pinks) are a result of either being thrown off by her recent UTI + AB treatments, or because of something else going on that I don't know about yet. There's probably no way of knowing for certain, but I'm really hoping to see improvement of numbers when I increase tomorrow night to 1.25u.

I hope everyone in LL is having a good evening!
I see that there are quite a few newbies that I have yet to welcome. That's my homework for tomorrow :-D .

Great condo today! I'm glad Ripley is better but sorry for the evening crescent moon. I hope she's ok.

Hopefully, as you do more fluids, she will get used to it.

Big hugs!
