1/26 Moonie AMPS 241,+5~138 vet visit poo

Aftnoon! We took Moonie to the vet today & she got another enema...Vet feels the tumor is in small intestine, and is causing some problem with Moonie pooping as there is no poo in her colon.. but he did feel it in her tummy...
She did poop 2 small & in car some liquipoo. Small poo is normal for Moonie--Also the softer we can make her stool, the easier for her to pass it..Wish this idiot cat would drink milk, eat cream cheese or any dairy, as that would loosen stool up a LOT! But she wont eat it..
He gave me 2 cat enemas & showed me what to do...I can do this every 3 days..Not that hard to do, but need another person.. ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile
The prednisolone is keeping her comfortable, and we are continuing that..
And the lactulose will keep her insides moving..So all in all, I am of course worried..
They all said Moonie is a fighter & she was complaining to all the vet tech & reaching out for them with her paw while they waited for the enema to work!! One vet tech was cheering her on :lol:

So, what to do--Love her, spend quality time with her, and take good care of her..Now we can add enema giving to my FD talents!! :lol:

Hi guys sorry to hear about your latest woes but Moonie is a fighter. I second what you say and just enjoy the time you have with her and know you are going above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable. LOL on the enema, hope that goes well the first time you try! Little Mags is two days late, so they are in it together. So cute with Moonie reaching out with her paws to the Techs. A little poop is encouraging. Mags's poo was getting too soft, so I cut back a little but hopefully I didn't mess her up. Sending lots of vines and love to you and Moonie.
