I want to thank you all for visiting Mannie yesterday. Your endless support is overwhelming, and ever so appreciated. I am so so sorry that I haven't been able to visit many condos... Mannie takes alot of my time, Nicholas takes the rest. I know you all understand. I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks, and I hope to get back to condo visiting soon. You guys are the best.
AND (!!!!) I have news... I keep forgetting to mention this but: Nicholas will be a big brother come the end of June. Cool huh!

HEALTH/DOSE INFO: Yesterday was..... recovery day in MannieLand. He really does seem to be feeling better, small baby steps to get there. All meds are on board: Bupe for Pain, Cabalamin for appy/nausea/gastro well-being and Zeniquin as an AB. Zenequin will be once I research it this morning. Mannie continues to make small improvements. LB is more normal, he is a bit more social, on the mend. I know he needs more juice, and that has been addressed once the meds were on board and I could safely know he will eat, as appy was good. Last night I switched out the MC for some of his usual LC and the response was positive - first time in several days for that. Mannie - here's to you, some very strong feel better vines". All is returning to normal in MannieLand. The steps are small but they are there. Greetings at the door when we come home, responding to the sound of an opening cat fuds can, wanting to sit with us for dinner, a head to toe bath, and the best of all?: rearranging the nanners !!! That one made my day.... DGS was back yesterday - Mannie was glad to see him, waited for him to come up the stairs. Nicholas was gentle with him, sees to understand what "sick kitty" means. He made sure that I gave Mannie some chicken. Insistent in fact. What was great was that Mannie ate it. Just one bite, but he did eat it. That made DGS smile, with a loud "Man-NIE!" Very cool. Testing is still good, shots are still good, food is improving. Closer to normalcy in MannieLand. ;-)

Have a great day everyone. I am back on DGS duty for the remainder of the week. Today will be an outdoor day - or so I hope, if I can find a place for us that isn't freezing! . I am not too sure at this point if that will be doable or not. We will try for a river, and then let the day evolve for him. I will try and get to condos when I can, but probably not until late in the evening. There is just no time when he is here.. I will miss you guys - and your furkids. Think blue think green kitties!

And completely OT: here are some photos from DGS's and my adventure yesterday at the pool. It was so fun to be back, after a week of pool closures. he had such fun! All that swimming made for a long nap, so we didn't get out for anything after that. we will do that today. SWIMMING!

Good news that Mannie is getting back to his old self. That is such a relief. AMPS is much better. Thank you, Mannie barista, for the tripple-shot espresso this morning. I really needed it, because our coffee maker was malfunctioning (it's OK now, thank goodness!).

So Nicholas will be a big brother this spring! That will be quite a change for all of you. Better start now to think about how you will coordinate two different types of "activities"! But I'm sure that "SuperGrandma" will figure it out :smile:

Morning Michelle, oh my ohmygod_smile I just had a nice post to Mannie and one stroke of a key it disappeared. I'll learn to save it next time. Any way, nice report on Mannie and every day he seems to be getting better. Hearing about the nanners, being more social and eating a piece of chicken are all ways Mannie is sayong I'm getting there, Mom! Very exciting on DGS getting a new brother in June. Congrats to all of you, and you must be so excited to have nother grandbaby. Sending loving feel better and healing vines to Mannie today. Have a great adventure day. Morning Ann oh I hate it when that happens with the post - did to me last night.... yes, he is, small baby steps, but he is coming along. I agree, he is trying to tell me. I can see it in his eyes. He was fed 8% LC, rather than the HC/MC he has been on this past week. His tastes/desires seem to be improving too. He received his bupe shortly after that. LB continues to be normal, he does seem to be feeling better. AB's will start tomorrow.

414 @ PMPS - bit of a bounce, but I'm not too surprised to see it, after the "dive into the blues oday. I know he hit 157, suspect he went lower, as he wasn't near nadir yet. I did feed this as DGS and I were headed on out. He ate that feeding very well It was nice to see as it used to be one of his favorites. He seems to be doing well this afternoon. LB continues to be normal, food intake was good, preening is back to normal. What was nice to see was him waiting for me at the to of the stairs when I returned home from dropping off DGS. Dinner went well, as did teh shot. After he took a full bath - YAY!. He came to get me for his +1, seems he wanted more fuds. nice that it is 8%, and not the 14% anymore for main fuds. Bupe will be given in an hour.

Thank you EVERYONE for checking on Mannie while Nicholas and I played today. We went to Bellingham to vista a very nice waterfall there. It was gorgeous! Cold at 31, but sunny. The creek there that feeds the falls was full, so lots of water! The spray has iced up alot of the main walkway, one had to be careful, but WOW! So so pretty!! I will post some photos in Nannie's condo tomorrow. THANK YOU Liz, Anne, Deborah, Lisa, Ann, Michelle, Carla, Barb, and Ella for visiting!! I cannot express how much I appreciate it, and your support. We are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, still a ways to go, but Mannie is getting there. The Blue Mannie Group is back!
