Finally saw a green last night. I really do think this shooting on the flank makes a difference... does anyone know why spine shots arent recommended? is it related to absorption? (see yesterdays condo regarding me shooting him too close to the spine)

Anyway he got out to play today which he loved.. just while DH was bbq his lunch, but he got to sniff the snow and some half dead plants...

I would speculate that it has to do with the amount of fat. The areas of more fat are the better areas to shoot for lantus absorption.
