12/28 Trixie PMPS 194 +2 236, Christmas pics

Yesterday

Trix is heading the wrong way. I suspect she probably does need more juice, although we had some good numbers yesterday. I'm thinking about fattening her up this evening, since DH should be home most of the weekend for monintoring.

For me, it's back to work tomorrow...I'm not ready, but I have no choice. And, today, I have to go food shopping. I suppose it will be good for me to start moving about in the world again, as much as I don't want to.

We went to my parents last night for "Christmas", since we spent "real Christmas" in the ER with Mario. Grandma and Grandpa bought the kitties "Yeowww" balls....the same brand as our beloved Nanners. All the kitties loved them, but of course I was sad that Mario wasn't there, because he loved a good Yeowww toy, too.

Anyway, here's Trix playing with one of the balls...it was impossibe to get a non-blurry shot because she was having so much fun.

Trixie does look like she's thoroughly enjoying her present! It's good your parents understand. There are so many people here who's families don't understand the bond between us and our kitties.

Those are adorable pics of Trixie playing with her Christmas present. Would this be Trader Joe's today, as I remember you shop tere every week. I love TJ's, always new products. Yes, so sweet of your parents to think of the kitties. I can understand the sadness of Mario not being there. (((Hugs)))

Good Morning (((Amy))). Trixie is adorable, playing with the yeoww ball. It's also Clancy's favorite. It's nice when family realizes that our kitties are part of the family, and deserve a present, too. :smile:

I am definitley amazingly lucky when it comes to my family - they know and understand that my cats are my world, and they are willing to plan family gatherings accordingly. Santa has always left gifts for the kitties at my parents'! I have similar pictures of everyone playing with the balls. Zen "accidentally" got a bit too close to Trix, and she smacked him upside the head! Fortunately, he knows to listen to her.

Yes, Trader Joe's is on the list for today. Hopefully the shelves will be restocked - when I went last week, they were pretty bare!

HI Amy and Trixie! Nice amps this morning. Pics are cute, looks like she is having a ball hahaha! Nice that your parents understand and you were able to have Christmas later. Hope you are doing ok. Not much different from the morning. We did fatten her dose up...maybe she needed more than a fattening, but at this point we need to go slow...

Trixie is certainly enjoying your folks' Xmas present. Those pics are terrific. I know that this Christmas was hard for you without Mario. Next year it will be easier to look back on all the past Christmases and the happy memories they hold.

I love the pics of Trixie. My mother always had presents for all the cats too. To read that it was the same for you brought on a smile. It is wonderful when parents understand.
