Yesterday

It looks like last night's dosecrease threat worked - and wasn't really shooting for that effect!

I got a new food to add to Mario's mix. Sadly, he's primarily a kibble eater, and at his age, I'm no longer arguing the point - I'll give him whatever he wants. For years, I've tried giving on the best of the best fuds to my herd, but I wanted something to spark Mario's interest a little better - he eats OK, but he definitely lacks gusto. So, I got him Purina One Senior kibble...it wasn't easy making that purchase, but I had to try it. He LOVES it. I'm mixing it with his higher-quality grain-free kibble, so he's got a blend going on. It was nice to see his little nose going with excitement when he smelled it.

Of course, though, civvie Petey also caught a whiff of it and REALLY wants to try it, but he absolutely can't, since he can't digest grains. He held out on eating his own fuds for a while this morning, thinking I would cave and give him a few of Mario's new kibbles...I stood strong, though!

Got most of my Christmas shopping done yesterday, so I can almost start breathing a little easier, but today is my long day at work. Have a great one, LL!

Hi Amy, so glad the dose threat is working. It is amazing how that happens. I think Trix is headed to the Lagoon! I so understand on Mario with the food. I had to do something similar with Mags because of her high renal values, not the dry, but a food I resisted. We do what we have to with the ECID. Have a great day.

What a nice start for Trixie. I guess those dose threats do work. One way or another it si good to see those numbers.

Very nice on the fuds for Mario. Sometimes we just have to cave to what they want, feel they need, especially when they are seniors. I a so glad that he liked it. YAY!

Hi guys ... yay on finding new fuds for mario! I hate buying kibble for twix, but with wet cat food she get's rodent ulcers on her mouth .. can't have that either .. Glad to see trixie in some low blues for you this morning .. have a great day!
