Honey is doing great as usual. She's eaten less today as she completely freaked out when I got the cat carrier out to take Minkie to the vet.
She's now too stressed to eat - and is hiding somewhere else. I can't just leave food out for her as now Minkie can't eat until tomorrow am.

Minkie - took him to the vet and they did blood work, poo work, pee work, parasite work and any other work thinkable and gave him subQ fluids and antibiotics - Metronidazole (any issues with this??)
He still has liquid poo (3 days) but no other symptoms (eating, peeing, wanting to go outside) apart from the third/inner eyelid showing.
He's not diabetic - I can vouch for that - and his heart rate was ok but the vet thought his thyroid was a little larger. So, the T4 is getting checked also.
Now he's home, he's ravenous - but they said no food until tomorrow morning and then just chicken. Very hard to say no

Of course, as I'm writing this, he's just sneezed 3 times so it could all be down to a cold!

I gave my babies Metronizadole ( flagyl) for a week for diarrhea and Tiggy got it for two weeks. Sienne used it on her cat for a month no problems.Long term i think it can cause issues and I dont know about what it would be like for a cat with any issues though - I think ( don't quote me) that it isn't great long term for a cat with hyperthyroidism but I am sure an expert will come soon and correct me ;)

Honey looks good!

If it's possible, I'm sending solid poo vines to Minkie. Hope it passes quickly. Honey looks great, of course! cat_pet_icon

Thanks Wendy & Tara for visiting and the vines and advice.

Honey hasn't eaten much today but I think she's a bit stressed by the dreaded cat carrier coming out. Then there's this new weirdness in the house where Minkie is locked out of the room and the door is shut while she and Monster eat. Honey hates the door being shut as she thinks I'm going to do something terrible to her like pick her up or something....
I usually leave food down and Monster just eats it all before anyone gets a look in but now I'm feeding and picking any leftovers up.

I couldn't resist Minkie any longer and fed him a little boiled chicken - of course, he turned his nose up at it.
Put it in the blender and mulched it - no better
Added fortiflora - nope, still yuck.
Added freeze-dried chicken and then he ate it but I'm not sure if there was more freeze-dried than boiled in the end
