Happy Caturday LL! We are saddened to hear of Bug's passing.
Kibby got his stitches out yesterday! Or I guess I should say the rest of his stitches out, as he had taken 3 of them out himself. I told him the Dr would do that for him, he didn't have to bother. The girls at the vet said "Why didn't he take them all out? Then he wouldn't have had to come in!"  He's really feeling good the last few days. He's out and about around the house - it's so good to see him in all parts of the house again. The other day he was even playing downstairs! Thursday night he was running thru the house. This morning I got a great cuddle session with him. I think he's really grateful to finally be feeling good again. Of course he's wanting to go outside, so I imagine keeping him in will only get harder as time goes on. I try to explain to him that even tho he's feeling great, he has a lot more healing up to do before he's allowed out again. Not to mention growing all that fur back! Not only would he freeze to death, but if he were to get into another fight, he'd get seriously hurt. So far he seems okay with staying in. He lets me know he'd like to go out, but he hasn't pushed the issue so far. No trying to run out the door when he hears it open or anything like that....yet.
Seeing him feeling so good after all he's been thru really fills my heart with joy. I, too, am feeling better, finally. Still have some soreness in my ribs, but I got some 800mg ibuprofen, and those are really helping. Hmm...I wonder if my joy and relief over Kibby is helping me to heal as well.
