Hello all,
Tonight is concert night #2, so that means missed shot #2 in a weeks time. :YMSIGH: I know her numbers look nice, but these little bounces she's throwing at me are making me nervous. I'm not used to her dropping 90 points in a half hour. Like yesterday, I left her tons of 12% for the early part of the morning to hopefully help her surf. Unlike yesterday, I did not go home to check on her today and will not get home until around +15.5 (ish), so I just hope she gets her lazy bum up and eats her fuds! Hope everyone is doing well and gearing up for the weekend. We're finally getting some cooler weather down here in Florida. "It's Beginning to Look a Little Tiny Bit Like Christmas" is my song of choice today! ;-)
Shasta did not wake me up today. In fact, she did not stir until I had gotten out of bed! LAZY! She was quite talkative (which I absolutely love!) and rubby and lovey. I even got a few head butts when she was up on the basin! She did have a very itchy ear this morning and a weepy eye (both on the right side), but we have had some pretty nasty, rainy weather lately. There was pee and poop (small logs) in the LB and preening after she had breffis.
Sending love and blessings to all (poopy prayers for Moonie! and possibly Maggie, if she needs them!) Sorry I've been a bit absent lately. I'll be back around after tomorrow night.

p.s. Liz - my students are singing an assortment of holiday music. Mostly choral pieces that no ones ever heard of; a few Medieval/Renaissance type pieces, Deck the Halls (Men's Chorus); "Auld Lang Syne" is in a piece that my Concert Women are singing, but it's not the main song (just a cameo!); my vocal a cappella group is singing "Little Saint Nick"; my advanced women are singing a beautiful Hanukkah piece called "Unending Flame" with our amazing violinist (who, as a high school sophomore, just spent a week at U. Southern California with Midori (!) and they want him to come out to California next year and study at USC because he's that good and he has enough credits he can graduate at the end of this year!) and my Chamber Ensemble is singing a Charlie Brown Medley!!!! It'll be a fun concert...even funner to be done with it! Exams start tomorrow and go through Thursday of next week. :? Hope you guys are doing well. Scritches to Zener!
