The dryer vent guy came and I put J.D. outside. I've looked everywhere... Please send vines..

Did you check in the dryer? Or in the vent tube? or behind the dryer? Could he have crawled into the vents?

hopefully you find him soon!

Oh no....have you called dryer vent guy to make sure JD didn't get in their truck? Hope you find him soon. It's terrible worrying when you can't find them.

Horrible though it is, and its happened to me, he will find his way home and is probably very close.
My cats won't come if there's another cat around - they get fascinated by it and won't budge, even when in the neighbours garden - it could be something as simple as that.

Come on JD - think of food and comfort and get back home
 
Thank you, you guys. I have been looking for him for 2 hours, or it seems like it if it's not. I am covered with sweat and mud and I need a beer.

He was in the basement when the dryer vent guy came, and I brought him up and put him outside so he wouldn't hide ...
...in the laundry room. It's a finished basement and there's a bathroom down there and the only wall that's not finished is between the laundry room and the bathroom and he is known to hide down there, so I keep the laundry room closed with the evil vacuum cleaner against the laundry room door.

He must have run in when the dry guy was here, and then the dryer guy started his machine. I checked down there three times calling him and opening up cans of food and shaking treats and got down on my hands and knees to look down there (where you can see the foundation of the house).

I had two neighbors coming the area and looking everywhere outside. I was just bringing one of my neighbors downstairs to the basement to see the unfinished wall and the tight place where he hides, and out he walks without a care in the world !!!

My heart just got a lot of exercise.

Good gravy!!! So glad he decided to grace you with his presence after giving you a heart attack! They know what they are doing for sure...bet you loved him up one side and down another...that's all he wanted anyway :roll:
 
It's just so scary when they do that! My Calli was a good one for that.

At least he's home now and alright.
