Last Night:
228 PMPS
314 +2.75
111 +8.75
114 +9.75

I woke up to a normal healthy poo in the box. I am assuming it is from J.D.

Around 3:00am, Ginger was screaming and crying and screaming and crying and scratching and having a fit, to get outside, and I ignored her  I wasn't getting dressed to take her outside. I am so mean.
At around 4:00am, I heard J.D. ringing the bell on the front door knob, but I must have gone right back to sleep because I only heard him do it once.
Then at about 5:30 or so, I heard J.D. howling by the litter box and I heard a scream  (from Ginger) and a hiss coming from the litter box. Ginger ran off dragging her butt on the carpet. She had a hairball coming out the wrong way and I had to kind of help pull it out

Last night (I mean all the PM cycle), J.D. only ate a total of about 1/4 can of FF and a very small handful of EVO Kibble, so I figured he was hungry or would be hungry this morning. He did sleep with me last night and pretty much acted normal, except for the occasional howling. Looking at his ss it looks like I forgot to give him his Denamarin for two nights in a row, so maybe that's the cause of the howling.

This morning, J.D. licked a little (a couple teeny little bites) of FF Chunky Chicken at AMPS. I added some EVO Kibble and a few crunched Temptations and some FortiFlora, and he ate a tiny bit more (Ginger happily finished it). At +0.5 I spoon fed him and he ate close to the rest of the 1/4 can I had intended him to eat. He has been drinking a little bit of water off and on. He has gone outside a couple times, now that I am up. He gave himself a bath after his meal, and is now curled up on the couch.

I am not going to give him the Flagyl this morning, and am going to call our vet hosp to have J.D.'s regular vet call me and we can discuss it. I heard he won't be in until the afternoon, though.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Dyana, sounds like you had an eventful morning! Don't you just love when they have a hairball coming out of their butt, lol! Hope JD starts eating more for you! Nice amps to start the day. Hope your day settles down and you have a nice Monday. Good luck with the vet!

Re: 12/10 J.D. AMPS 174

I'm just glad I have today off.

J.D. ate about another 1/4 can of FF (without EVO) at +1.5. He's following me around the house like a puppy dog.

I'm glad J.D. had a poo! Mags is checking to see if her poo vines worked! :-D It seems there are three kitties who feel their Beans should not be sleeping. I just read Scrabble's condo. Enjoy your day off and hope you get some "you" time in there, too.

Re: 12/10 J.D. AMPS 174

I never called the vet hosp as a 3rd vet (not our regular vet and not the one we saw on Saturday) just called me to say that J.D.'s stool samples came back negative. I told him that I wanted to stop the Flagyl and he agreed.

J.D. just ate some more food a few minutes ago, and I just let him go down into his beloved basement which he hasn't been down into since before our vacation.

Re: 12/10 J.D. AMPS 174

Nice blue for JD. Wow on the morning you had! When it rains... I hope it all calms down for you and that it helps when you stop the flagyl. Tarragon takes flagyl every day without problems but ECID. Have a great day Dyana!

Re: 12/10 J.D. AMPS 174

Nice amps this morning....but I guess not eating much during the night contributed to that one, huh. Glad JD ate some for you today and made a trip to his beloved basement. Sounds like he is having a good day so far.

I had to laugh at your kids....the certainly were persistent about going outside, weren't they! Maybe something was out there that they wanted to get to...perhaps that Elf on the Shelf was making an appearance in the neighborhood and decided to check in on your two....maybe it was the Elf that rang JD's bell.....never know...better let them know that the elf will be checking in on them so he can report back to Santa to let him know that they were good little boys and girls!

Poor little Ginger...that fur ball must have hurt the poor girl! I bet she was glad her mum was around to help clean her up or she would have had to sit around all day like that!

Hope you have a good day today...enjoy the time off!

I had a dryer vent guy come to clean the vent, and J.D. somehow got past him in the laundry room and hid under the foundation. My heart got a work out, looking for him. http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=84807 Thank you everyone for sending those vines to help me find him today.

Dyana it sounds like you've had a crazy day. I hope things settled down after you found J.D. Nice slide to green today. I'm glad the stool sample came back negative.

I could tell J.D. was hungry at +11.5 and was trying to eat my crackers. He then went to go "after" Ginger because that's what he does when he's hungry and then howls afterwards, to get my attention.
I tested him at +11.75 and got that 402 and fed him and gave him his shot all in about 5 minutes.

Darkness has now fallen and the kitties are sleeping.
