Wow! Leo had a wonderful run of blues for 24 hours with a yellow at the end. We are prancing for joy! And there were nice surfs in there too! He got me worried at his +11 last night (102) but recovered to a more shootable number, for me being at the point of exhaustion after the previous two nights of little sleep.

Leo scratches at the back sliding glass door to get out into his old hood, but probably more just because he wants to smell and see things more. His old house is on the steps right outside the door and there is a chipmonk who's storing nuts or something in there. Last night Leo went NUTS slapping his tail around and darting his head back and forth . He must have seen Chippy but I think Chippy zipped off and Leo didn't realize it, because he kept vigil for a while waiting to see him again.

This weekend I have a ZILLION things to do, and won't finish them all, but I really want to make cookies. I suspect it won't happen. I need to catch up on sleep if I want to do the 4am drive on Monday morning back down to MD with the four-legged vomit machine.

Have a great Saturday all! We have icky rain and cloudiness all day, and it's dreary 37 degrees. Maybe we'll make a fire tonight and have spiked eggnog after we put up the tree.

Thanks for reminding me... I have to make cookies today, or this weekend, too.

Your evening plans sound good to me. I wish we had a fireplace.

I haven't kept up with your condo, is Leo's brother still stopping by your house.

I hope Leo's bounce is about over, and he comes down for you nicely today.

Hi Dyana - Leo's brother stops by every now and then. He is a handsome dark guy - I wish I could adopt them all. I think the cookies will have to wait for next weekend. I just woke up from a nap - this week with Leo wiped me out. We'll see about his bounce - he's getting better about clearing them. Have a nice day Dyana.

Hi Michelle - Oh lucky having Monday off! I am saving my time for later around the holidays, but I wish I could sqeek out a day to get a handle on stuff. Thanks for giving Leo some encouragement - hopefully the bounce is breaking. Happy day!

Hi Lisa

I hope Leo comes back down to his blues like yesterday for you. Those bounces are a drag. Sometimes you need a break when they've been keeping you awake though with low numbers.

HOpe you get some stuff done! I'm doing more laundry, bill paying and xmas shopping again as soon as I finish Racci's condo.

Hi Melanie - yes, I agree. I was happy last night when he started to bounce, sad to say! I got a little work done, not as much as I wanted. But we got our tree up in the stand, and Molly is already sitting underneath it. She loves her Great Big Tree Water Fountain
