12/2 PurrFace PMPS 146 +2/184 +4/146 +7/173 +9.5/351

I was expecting a higher number so was a little bit pleased with an "almost blue" 209. I printed his SS for the days that he's been on the 0.50U dose and went over it this morning before giving him his shot. I noticed that he only had a PMPS in the blue on the 28th, a 112 & 29th, a159. On the 28th, his lowest blue, he stayed in the blue zone for the entire AM cycle. On the 29th, his highest blue, he dropped to the green zone and stayed there most of the cycle, his low being a 51@+2. For that reason I kept him at his current dose for his morning shot. I was concerned that if he reacts the same an increase could put him too low. I was going to give him today yet at the 0.50 anyway but was reconsidering at shot time.

Don't worry about the error yesterday, Mary. You joined the forum Sep 27th and I joined Aug 27th and I'm still making a lot of errors. Thankfully everyone here is very understanding and helpful by letting us know when we do and that's how we learn.

Once again I made one of those errors I just mentioned. I got into the SS and shot time creep up on me so I didn't read any post prior to shooting so I didn't see your recommendation, Marje, until after I shot. Sometimes I need to be hit over the head quite a few times before something sinks in, like....Read the posts before the shot.

it isn't a problem....I left it up to you either way on when you increase. I just think he does need one but just saying it probably means he'll drop into the 40s today ;-) ;-) :lol: :lol: :lol:

He didn't hit the 40s Marje, but he did make it to the green zone and is grazing there for now. Unless he has a lower number than he did at +6.75/69 that will be his nadir for this cycle right where it use to be. I think his PMPS and PM readings will tell us a lot. If they aren't all blue or green up he goes to 0.75U BID. Knowing PurrFace I wouldn't be surprised if he did stay in the blue zone for his PM cycle.

DW had me put up Christmas tree this afternoon. Katie (civvie NFC) loves to lay under the tree. Every year she puts a claim to that spot. Our front room windows go almost to the floor so she can lay there under the tree and look out at the world. When the tree isn't there she never goes to that window. Her being there helps us also because she keeps our civvie, Heidi, from eating the tree. Whenever Heidi starts to eat the branches Katie gives her a growl and a huge hiss. We say she's giving Heidi "the snake".

PurrFace surprised me tonight. He gave me a very nice blue 146 at PMPS. :thumbup This AM cycle is his best cycle by far since on the 0.50U dose. The PM cycle on Nov 27th was close but didn't have any green in it.

It would be just like PurrFace to start putting blue and green numbers on the SS for a few cycles just to keep me confused. :smile:

Four hours post PMPS and still in the blue :thumbup :thumbup fingers crossed that he'll keep it up.
