J.D. had a solid poo last night :)
He ate pretty good overnight, and has eaten most of his 1st Breffis and 2nd Breffis.
I have not given him his Denamarin for 3 days now, as I have not yet woken up at 4:00am to do it.

We are heading for a longggggg day at tbp, today.

Hooray for a solid poo, and eating his breakfast this morning

Have a great day,

Dyana, glad JD got the poo problem resolved, I hate it when that happens to them. Glad he came down for you too.

Have a great - even though long - day today.

Jo

I'm glad J.D. is eating this morning and yay for the solid poo. I hate the first day back at work after being on vacation. Hope it's not too bad.

Glad to see JD settling down & getting better. He is so lucky to have the luxuary of staying home resting his jet lag  Poor Dyana, are you felling better after a night of good sleep? Take care!

Thanks for asking, but no, I have been forcing myself to get up at 6:00am these past two days, but still staying up too late (until after midnight), and I have missed his 4:00am pill time for his Denamarin 3 days in a row.
J.D. is not staying home as I have to work past his PM shot time, so he comes with me to work. He is standing under my desk, and just finished his 3rd? Breffis.

Okay back to work..

JD has to go to tbp with you today...well, that's the way it should be.....why should you be the only one who has to suffer after the wonderful vacation you both had!!!

Glad he had a good solid poo today. May be on his way to getting back to normal!

My vet has said before not to worry about the bit of red blood I have occasionally seen in J.D.'s poo. The other day, he had a solid poo, that looked like there was a little red blood at the final "leg" of it.
I hate writing poos condos..
He had a solid poo last night.
At work he had a solid poo.
After almost 12 hours of work, I put him in his carrier, and he had a stinky wetish poo. I smelled it all the way home.
When we got home from work, he ate a bunch of food, like he normally does when we get home from work. Then he got a little more than half way into the litter box and had some runny poo, which I saw red blood in.
I bagged up the latest prezzy, and was wondering if I should attach it to my vet's front door tomorrow morning on the way to work addressed to him and asking him to please have a look at it, for me. I really don't have any time to get to the vet until next Saturday. Work is just so crazy.. I got through my emails, and just about organized my work load, and that's about it today. Again, I just feel so overwhelmed.
J.D. was shaking his paws after he got out of the litter box, so he got a four paw bath, and was just licking them all.
This better not be caused by the salt on the cement steps and walkways around here, because of the little bit of snow we received. I try to pick him up through the worst of it.

He has been getting FortiFlora for the past two days. I did buy some Azodyl, but have not used it yet.

I have had the same problem with Tiggy on and off. After the operation he got diarrhea. One day his poo was normal, the next it was ice cream or liquid. Smelly, Sometimes with fresh blood on it. Then normal again. very intermittent, And his bum was swollen. We and the vet reckoned the blood was due to irritation more than anything. The fortiflora didn't help much but the antibiotics did. We think some if it is irritable bowel disease not helped by the operation and the antibiotics helped a bit with his gut flora..
