Good morning!
Well, we were all happy that this new dose was giving us some lower numbers, but then I threw Leo in the Magic Box of Terrors and things weren't the same after. Sure, I expected a little bounce from the new greens, and yeah, travel BGs, but I thought we'd escaped New Dose Wonkiness. Apparently not. I'd expected him to fall later in the night, but no dice.
Leo is getting better about the commute. He sits next to me on the center console for a while, watching everything go by, and he's getting good at keeping his balance during turns and stops and accelerations. I thought for sure he was going over the handle bars when one a$$hole cut us off on the highway and I grabbed Leo's harness, but he really didn't need me to. Good boy! Then he curled in the back after 45 minutes or so (also the trend) ... but then ... pukus. And not in the littler box, where's he's made it to before the last couple pukes. No, he just did it right there on the seat ... the only surface not covered by a pee pad, towel, cat bed, carrier or me. Yuuuuuucck. Gotta love cleaning cat barf out of the holes the seat belt comes through. The rest of the trip was uneventful - he slept (passed out? zoned?) the rest of the way curled in his bed.
Here's hoping the little guy can come down from his numbers nicely. I hate these travel reds.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday!
